What a wonderful stop. Great local items gifts, drinks, I've cream and a great kitchen. There's plenty of seating. I highly recommend visiting whether you live here or are showing guests. Well done 🤙🏼

We stopped here after visiting the Botanical gardens which is a must stop. You definitely should stop here afterwards to get some shaved ice or a smoothie. The friendly staff here are amazing and try the food here as well it is equally as great . If you like pickles don't leave without trying them. We had the pulled pork on a bun with pickles on the side. Shaved ice with ice cream, strawberry banana smoothie and a Pina colada smoothie. All were excellent!!!

Phenomenal local food stop. Stopped here on a recommendation from a local cacao grower on the last day of our trip. Would most definitely come again!

We had the Kahlúa pork tacos and a smoothie. Great food! We met the owner, Josh, a couple days ago. We were running out of gas and he gave us enough to get to Hilo for dinner. That saved our evening.

The Reuben and pickles were amazing. Here’s a tip…don’t squeeze in to sit out front, but instead go out back through the store to the little garden and eat out there. Say hi to the bunnies!

It was a recommended stop on the Shaka guide app so we had to try it. We didn’t have the shave ice but looking at the ones other people order looked good. We had the chucked salad sandwich with macaroni salad on the side and it was really good. They also had fresh fruit. Friendly staff!

I tried to order a milkshake, but that item was unavailable. Then the awesome dude taking my order offered me a "smooshie!" He said he could add a scoop of ice cream to any smoothie. I went with the Sunrise (banana/mango/pineapple/lilikoi) and it was better than a shake or a smoothie! This is a little family run business that is a joy to visit! Small, but beautifully decorated with a lovely outdoor seating area. The gift shop is a treasure trove of exciting, uniquely Hawaiian items like Ulu (breadfruit) pasta, hand crafted bath soaps, and fresh mangosteens (the "queen of fruits!") Highly recommend OCM for a yummy treat and a fun browse!

Great lunch and smoothie stop with a small market inside. Local eggs, honey, small fridge selection. Everything is really high quality and the people are really friendly.

OMG! My 1st experience there since Piilani kitchen opened its doors, was last Saturday, 3/16/!I was bored at home when I spocked a pic of their, panini sandwiches on IG and I walked the 1/2 mile to their quaint kitchen, just inside the doors of the Onomea Country store.Once there I was immediately greeted by a vivacious young lady, Gracie, ready to take my order!I ordered tacos that 1st day and have been back 2x since !Eat there, at the tables outside so you can taste the freshness straight outta the kitchen!Bon apetito!

We ran into this quaint spot on the way to Hilo and were very happy we did. The food is exceptional and the people are awesome! Felt and tasted homemade, including the pickles.
