Came here for girlfriends birthday, from start to finish we felt like an afterthought. Maybe it was because we were much younger than most clientele, but the service we received was terrible. Slow, and no consideration in the service. On top of this outside of checking in at restaurant there was no recognition of my girlfriends birthday. Outside of the views we found everything to be overpriced and overrated.

Food was wonderful. I'm usually underwhelmed by resort food but this did not disappoint! Great place to celebrate a birthday. Price is a little steep, but in line with high end restaurants. Will be back for sure!

We ate at one kitchen last night. The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The service was subpar. Our meal took forever to receive and then once we got it, it was cold, we had no plate and empty cups. Once our waitress came by we expressed our frustration and she appeared confused and offered a glass of wine. I would have rather just had everything come out in a timely fashion and hot. Especially when you’re spending $500 on a dinner.
It was such a lame experience we’ve spent the last couple days discussing how bad it was. Don’t waste your money on food go for a beverage, the views are incredible!!! .

Get the poke bowl!!! So tasty. The tacos were okay but not outstanding. We went during lunch where the prices seemed a little bit more reasonable. I don't think we would go for their breakfast, buffet or dinner. It just seemed a little bit overpriced. Killer views and the staff also encouraged us to hang out around the hotel and check it out, which would be beautiful. Be advised. There is no free parking you have to use valet, and it will be at least thirty dollars

We had an excellent experience at 1 Kitchen at the 1 Hotel Kauai. We started with drinks at Welina Terrace, which set the tone perfectly with great cocktails and a beautiful atmosphere. Dinner at 1 Kitchen was outstanding. The food was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor, and the service was attentive without feeling rushed. Everything from start to finish felt relaxed, elevated, and memorable. We would absolutely return.

The view was magnificent, even in the fog, and the service was excellent—staff were consistently attentive and professional. The food was great and met the high expectations set by the overall experience. The only downside was the valet parking: there was no self-parking option, and valet service was mandatory and paid. This kind of nickel-and-diming detracted from an otherwise high-quality experience.
