We brought our parents here for dinner and it was exactly what we were hoping for. Unpretentious, fun, with great live music. Like most of Hawaii, the service can be a bit slow, but the atmosphere is so pleasant and the sunset views of Hanalei Bay are mesmerizing. The food was good - we had the beyond burger and caesar salad - and the vibe was better.
My wife have been to the HAPPY TALK restaurant in the Hanalei Bay Resort twice. Once in 2022 and again in 2023. In 2022, we ordered the Mahi-Mahi sandwich and the fish was dry and hard. The waitress (VALERIA) offered to remake it or let my wife order something else, so my wife ordered a burger instead, which was much better. I had a Poke bowl. It was good, but had too much sauce for my liking. That made it spicy. I should have asked for it to have light sauce or the sauce be placed...read full review

This place is just what the name says, the vibe, music and staff give everyone a sense of happiness which makes one feel at home. The drinks were really good, we went for some mai tais with fish and chips and shrimp tacos for my wife. To top it off we had the lava cake for dessert which was also delicious. Overall, this is a happy place to have a good time, listen to some good music with some good drinks and delicious food. I do recommend it!
