Not quick and easy as advertised. There was no line, I walked up to the counter and was told the wait was 25 minutes for a sandwich. I assume the girls working were being lazy and said this to send me away.

There is no other place like the Sandwich Isle on Kauai. The sandwiches are made with great care and the best quality ingredients around. The surfer sandwich is 10/10. The BBQ is also a favorite! This place is popping! So be sure to call ahead around lunch hour. The wait is absolutely worth it. Pricing is more than fair for quality here, especially for being on an island. The last time I visited their refrigerator was down, but they accommodated as best as they could with a few options that were still delicious!

The staff is so very nice , the sandwiches was the best I’ve had, you won’t be disappointed at all when you eat here , they accidentally put jalapeños on my wife’s side of the sandwich which we picked off and I ate and the owner apologized and told me she would have it remade, I told her we was alright with it but she insisted on making us a different sandwich to try on the house . I would definitely recommend this place .

The North shore of Kauai is beautiful, but clean food is hard to find amidst the tourist traps. During our stay in this area my wife and I ate at a dozen restaurants. Out of all of them we would only recommend one or two. This is one of those restaurants. Unlike so many other restaurants in the area, this food was fresh and delicious. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner who works there on a daily basis. She was SO happy and friendly, and truly cares about the quality of the food she serves.
TLDR: it's one of the best sandwich shops I've ever eaten at.
