We were just really hungry.
The bowling part is super fun. They have the little ramp thing for kids to even play. If it was all based on the bowling part 5 stars. However the guy working there is why 3 stars. The guy comes off rude. But im sure its the stress of running the whole place single handedly. I kind of fault the owner for not hiring at least 1 more staff. They guy takes orders, then goes back to cook. So if hes cooking long time your standing there for 20 plus minutes waiting for service again. Not efficient at all.
This is in the military compound at the volcano national Park. The entrance is very hard to notice. Sometimes google routes you from route 11, the entrance is always closed.
Bowling alley with a fast food counter.
A friend recommended the bowling (we’re from the Midwest and love bowling). We decided to visit after our hiking mid-day 1pm. To our surprise we only saw 1 person working the cash register, bowling attendant and cooking food.
Of course we decided to remain patient and wait for food. Food was just okay even if you’re starving. Now for the fun part! Bowling!
Here is where I was totally wrong. As someone who knows even the bare minimum about how bowling alleys work. Sometimes the pins and/or ball can get stuck. My wife rolled 1 frame and after my 1 time rolling my ball, of course it got stuck.
Well, the 1 guy that works the whole area as the cashier, cook, bowling attendant. How was I going to ask him to stop taking the already backed up line of people to come out and unstick my ball.
So there goes my $40 spent on bowling and $60 on whatever tasting cafeteria food. Just hire 1 more person to handle bowling and cash register and it’s a 5 star experience!
Me and my friends hike here after school and it's a great place to go if your hungry and what affordable food.
This is a hidden gym at the park. They have reasonably priced food bowling and an arcade. Prefect for letting the kids unwind after driving several hours to get there.
Wings are good, bowling fun
The plate lunch menu is deceptive. $11.00 for single Loco Moco plate lunch comes with not but the Loco. The Loco was $7.00 less than a year ago. $5.00 for four (4) onion rings is wild.
I'm seriously disappointed in how much they have increased the prices in less than a year. They lost my business and support.

The food is made from frozen food. Not very recommended unless it is your last resort.

Small 6 lane alley seemed like a good time for a couple new comers to the area. The cubby 40 something guy at the counter threw a fit about our 2 year old getting the ball stuck between the gutter and the bumper and asked us to leave. It was about time to go anyways so we started to pack up when my wife mentioned to him that his customer service sucked. He insulted her and my son. When I confronted him he asked me to go outside for a fight. His manager walked up at that time to see what was going on. He denied asking to step outside with me like a scared little kid trying to keep his kid job with a quick lie. Not sure why they would employ someone like that hope he gets fired so we can come back.
The locals up there are so nice. Friendly atmosphere and ono grinds
