A fun stop for the novelty of going to one of the only wineries in Hawaii, and the southernmost one in the US. Nice atmosphere! Friendly staff. Unfortunately we weren’t very impressed with the wine itself. Not a bad way to unwind after a hike in HI Volcanoes NP.

Wines are on the pricey side but very innovative. The wine tasting is highly recommended. You can also share a tasting. We really liked the Volcano Red and the Volcano Blush ?

Very nice experience of wine testing! Thank you!

Entertaining acceptable wines. Chill cats. For some odd reason lots of loud customers. Ugh

Very fun stop after hiking at Volcano State Patk. We were there right when they opened & nice young guy did our tasting. Settled on Volcano Red a blend. Glad we stopped. Macadamina was interesting as well.

I don’t usually write reviews but I do feel like this review needs to be written. Although the concept of grapes grown on volcanic soil is really interesting and that draws you in, We did a vineyard tour and wine tasting and we found some things to be aware of before spending your money here:They have 5 wines and two meads. All 5 wines are made with California grapes with local fruit added in. So locally made, not locally grown. We did not enjoy the taste.Only the meads are locally grown and made, they’re also not very good. Our tour guide was only 20 so he was trying to teach us about wines that he wasn’t legally allowed to taste for himself. And I’m sure if he was allowed to taste them he wouldn’t like them either. He was also very unprofessional during our tour, pointing out lots of negatives and flaws about the property and company and swearing is a huge part of his vocabulary.Once a year they do bottle their own grapes but they don’t make much of it and they didn’t have any for us to taste, maybe that wine would have been good.If you’re someone who enjoys and appreciate good wine then I would skip this place for sure.

Had the most amazing wine.... macadamia nut honey wine. If I could make a wine that I would enjoy, this would be it!! We got here 20 minutes before closing time after spending the day at Volcanoes National Park. This place has boutique wines and cookies and fruit butters and tea made from camellia plants. They even have a black tea infused honeybee that I also really enjoyed. My husband and I shared a 375 ml bottle of the honey wine and ended our day on a happy note! The local red headed pheasants and nene were cavorting amongst the vines out front when we departed for our hotel in Hilo. Great stop for after your day at the volcano' Simple and lovely and plenty of places inside and outside to enjoy your wine

I’m not much of a wine drinker, but my husband and I split a tasting and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the wines are! The staff was all very friendly and helpful.

As previously stated, if you've been to any winery in California, you'll be disappointed here. Very nice staff but the wine is so sickly sweet, it tastes like cough syrup.

I enjoyed everything from the tasting. They are making delicious drinks with local and unique ingredients. Worth checking out if you are on big island!

kinda funny

The wine at this place is nasty, def makes you cringe. The kind of alcohol you take shots of to avoid tasting!
