Do not sleep on this little mom and pop shop. For local prices you can “bang for your buck” or aka “get your moneys worth.” Would highly recommend. I got the spicy seafood ramen combo and it was a solid meal for this beach babe. I’m a huge fan of supporting local restaurants when I travel and I’m so glad I found this place after the adventures of the day.
My girlfriend and I stopped at Fukuya Ramen for a bowl of tan tan ramen (ramen noodles in a “spicy” broth with an egg, a piece of pork and fish cake, and bean sprouts). The pork could’ve been more tender, but the noodles and broth were good. The broth had just enough spice to make it tasty, but not too hot. They have an extensive menu of ramen, udon and curries. Very good food. Got the pork fried noodles, wonton soup, and chicken katsu. One of those by themselves are big enough for a meal. Check was less than $10 per item (~$30 before tip).Recommend.
