Maybe I arrived at the wrong time (3:30pm) but this place was strange. Basically empty, inattentive employee, a vast and confusing menu. I didn’t know what or where to order and prices weren’t obvious (turns out it’s bc they are relatively high). The kind of spot for hipsters heading to or leaving Haleiwa.
Best meal of the day. The vibe was calm, easy breezy and a great contrast from the busy Waikiki. Loved the Furikaki Ahi. Absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the panko Mahi. And loved it. A must try for sure. Off the path, local vibe and great food.
Have had this spot on my list of places to eat for awhile….breakfast today ✅ that box! We were greeted immediately and that warm smile spilled over into the quaint atmosphere of the cafe! We shared a cinnamon roll with coffee while our breakfasts were made to order….loco moc was classic, the breakfast plate was more than one person can eat and the Cornbread and Pork (their local play on biscuits and gravy) hit the spot! Go hungry and enjoy the open air aloha of Smoking...
