A beautiful serene place full of rich wonderful experiences

Our stay at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai was absolutely amazing and created memories we’ll never forget. During this trip, I proposed to my girlfriend, now my fiancée, on the beach, and the resort was incredibly accommodating throughout the experience.

The property is beautiful, the pools are fantastic, and every restaurant we tried was excellent. Our favorite was ULU, which offered incredible food and an unforgettable setting. The room was amazing as well, and we especially loved the outdoor lava rock shower.

The resort offers so many great activities. My fiancée enjoyed the Pilates classes while I had a great time participating in the outrigger canoe experience. The gym was also one of the nicest resort gyms I’ve ever used.

Overall, this was a truly special trip filled with great memories. The staff, service, amenities, and overall atmosphere were exceptional. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing stay

Shame on this organization and how they treat non-guests. We came to access the public beach because all organizations in Hawaii are required to offer public beach access (because these organizations don’t own the public land) and the man at the gate was the most rude individual we have encountered in Hawaii. Yelling at us when we had a question about where the beach was saying if we didn’t know where to find it we should just leave. Your employees lack humanity and you should be ashamed. Will no longer be staying at your hotels when on trips.

Positives: room view was amazing.
Issues: sewer smell pervasive in room entire stay and no staff smelled it. We used essential oils, tried leaving rom doors open. Nothing helped. Blinking lights and it took 6 days to get fixed. Food here is the blandest I’ve tasted and it seems there are major communication / understanding when you ask for something and how the final recipient receives it. Shuttles always late or no one knows you need one after 3-4 requests and calls. The property needs major maintenance and repairs. For the money it’s not worth it. I finally gave up trying to get things corrected.

Rude staff. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from the gatekeeper.

A week later I am still thinking about our stay. The lush grounds are so perfectly spread out that you always feel relaxed. My housekeeper went above and beyond after noticing that I used the candles and bath salts. Every day thereafter, I had extra candles and bath bombs. The Four Seasons touch! Things like this were at every turn during our time on-site. Ethan, at the bell desk, was out of this world with all of our event planner requests. Even when it didn’t fall into his job category he smiled, and said, “absolutely.” He went above and beyond every time and is truly a gem there! I truly can’t say enough about him and know that Four Seasons will be lucky to call him a General Manager one day. Missing the strawberry ice cream too! Can’t wait until we go back!

Shame on you, of course the resort is awesome, but it’s absolutely not ok to have eagle ray in a pool, the sea it’s literally at 5 meters, and you keep these beautiful creatures ? Absolutely a shame and a irrespect about Hawaiian nature and the nature generally. I really hope you will change that, that’s so unnecessary.

Pretty mediocre experience overall. Beaches near the resort are rocky and not scenic. The restaurants are seaside which is nice, but they’re not all that good especially for the price. Food poisoning at two separate restaurants wasn’t helpful either.

Location is definitely sub par. Big island is generally a dump

Amenities are nothing special. Standard spa and gym access like would be expected.

A far better resort experience can be had anywhere else in the pacific or the Caribbean at this price point.

I loved everything about that night. Went there for a birthday dinner at Miller & Lux. The food all the way to the staff made this a perfect night.
