Overpriced breakfast buffet. Food wasn’t terrible, but the pricing was. $55 a person.
Overpriced and disappointing. First impression: staff was less than enthusiastic and seemed bored and annoyed. There was a lot of variety but everything was under/overcooked and lacking flavor. For being a coffee island the coffee was burnt and lacked depth. For the price ($55/adult; $27/keiki I would have expected immensely better food and service.
We had their special Mother's Day, buffet brunch and there was a great selection of food available, including an omelette station, prime rib, crab, sushi, salad, etc. Everything tasted very fresh and the brunch included bottomless mimosas. While it was a buffet, our server, Krystine, was very much on top of things, keeping an eye out for us. She was exceptional. There was a capable duet providing live background pop music. Tables were far enough removed that it wasn't too loud. It was a little warm because the air conditioner was malfunctioning, but not unpleasantly so. All in all, a very successful Mother's Day celebratory brunch, and I would recommend it, if the price is right for you.
I recently had a blast trying out the Big Island Breakfast at the Hilton Waikoloa Village! The buffet spread was seriously impressive, offering so many tasty options that it was hard to choose just one. And if the buffet wasn't enough, the menu had plenty of great picks too. While my wife tackled the buffet, I went straight for the loco moco dish, and boy, was it amazing! Our server, Rebecca L., was an absolute gem - super friendly, quick on her feet, and really helpful. And let's talk about the view! Sitting by the water's edge, enjoying a coffee or a Bloody Mary, it was pure bliss. Definitely a spot worth hitting up for a laid-back breakfast with fantastic food and great vibes.
Not much to say except my wife and I did not like it and my bar for bad food is pretty low. This place met all my bad expectations. How low can you go? With this place, there is no floor on how low...
Restaurant has indoor seating and a bit dark. Decided to use Grab and Go counter that was expensive and poor quality. Coffee was good but no half and half. Overall it was so bad I was rethinking our next stay.
Not very good. Very limited menu. Even more limited bar. No Bailey's and coffee. But to make up for that, it is extremely expensive. 2 two egg breakfasts and a cup of coffee=$70. Not going back!
We had breakfast here one morning. Got seating in less than 5 mins. Ordered the special breakfast - 2 eggs with rice and spam and portguese sausage. Excellent!
Sorry… but this breakfast was overpriced and cold by the time is was served. You can judge the price yourself… is was $24 for 2 eggs, bacon or ham, and fruit. PLUS an additional $5 for toast to go with the allegedly “over easy” eggs. It was the extra for toast that really got to me! I understand resources are limited on the island… but $5 for two cold pieces of whole wheat bread toasted. Not right!
Cold and over priced. Only saving grace is friendly service. If you’re going for food rather than service, though, keep looking.

Food is terrible. Took it off the bill so that was good but all of the food was terrible. I would suggest going elsewhere to eat breakfast
This breakfast is just way overpriced. Menu items are boring. No eggs Benedict. Fruit options aren't tropical. A great tropical fruit plate would have been wonderful but all they had was melon.
Wildly understaffed. And blatant price gouging. It is beautiful place tho. Only place to get breakfast between 7-9 am within the entire resort and it was 35 minutes of waiting in line and I was 3rd in line to get my pre-made breakfast to go. They have one old lady working that area. It's a sin. Torture chamber.
Sometimes long wait to be seated or served breakfast depends on the time you get there. Over priced but it’s your only breakfast option in the Hilton Waikoloa village.
I expected the breakfast to be pricey, but I thought we would have some service. We saw our waiter twice (10 minutes after we were seated, and to give us the check). Never was offered a refill on my $5 cup of coffee, and giving me Coffeemate for that price is just crazy. I realize things are different because of Covid, but other on-prprty restaurants deliver much more value.
