When searching for dinner nearby our hotel (or as close as can be) we stumbled upon Emma's for some Filipino food. I called in our order of pork lumpia (2) (each order has 6), grilled pork belly, sisig, and chicken adobo. The lumpia was good as well as the chicken adobo. The pork belly was a bit tough and not what I expected so that was a miss. The sisig was good as well. Overall a good bet if wanting Filipino food. I think we would stick with lumpia and adobo.

We ordered $90 worth of to-go for pick up, intending to share it all family-style and felt like everything was overall just okay. The main standout for me was the crispy pork since it had a great crunch and all-spice flavor similar to the chinese-style I have regularly. When we ordered on the phone they had said they ran out of mac salad so everything would come with all rice, and they also ran out of the large container for the pancit (lots of white pepper, needed a bit more salt or soy), so they gave us two regular orders instead. We also got the chicken adobo (very small portion imo) and side of Lumpia which were standard. There were no other veggie dishes to order from this menu so we ended up going to the Chinese restaurant next door to order a vegetable stir fry just to get some greens in. Definitely not the best filipinio I've had, but not the worst.

Yummy Filipino food that is cooked fresh when you order. We had the chicken katsu (not our favorite), crispy pork belly plate (fried to perfection), pancit bihon (enough for 3-4 people) and the bansilog (ate the leftovers for a full breakfast the next day). It was like eating at an auntie's house. Bring your own bottle of water or be prepare to buy a $3 small bottle of Dasani. We had great service from the cashier and the food court and bathrooms were clean and cool.

unfriendly End up not ordering because they are very unfriendly like I was there asking for free food. will not recommend go next door to the Thai restaurant.

You'll find Emma's tucked alongside three other restaurants. Just ring the bell if no one is in front. The kare-kare is a bit bland but otherwise decent. The Balabok has unique flavor but nothing to write home about. The pork & peas my daughter loved. Thr meat is melt in your mouth. But comes with potato salad and not lettuce salad. The Hawaiian plate also had potato salad. My son liked it but I think the pork needs a bit more smoke flavor. The calamansi is unique but too sugary.

Great food in a food court setting. Went more than once during our week on the Big Island.

I love Emma's Kitchen! My favorite is the orange chicken and noodles. You can also get Emma's Kitchen food inside KTA which I typically do. I'll check out the food court location soon! Highly recommend Emma's Kitchen.

They serve everything made to order and as usual when you're on the island it's just obviously a lot. We ordered fish sisig (I'd skip it) the kare kare was good, so was their food oxtail soup, mongo and kalbi. Don't forget to get their fried banana lumpia with the sauce it's the bomb

We are huge fans of Joey's Kitchen on Maui which is a Filipino/Hawaiian restaurant. That said, Emma's kitchen was excellent and we would definitely go back! Everything was fresh and made to order. We got the calamansi to drink which is similar to a limeade and it was really refreshing after being at the beach for several hours. To eat we got the pork adobo plate and the crispy pork belly. Both were flavorful and the portions were huge! Will definitely be back!

Emma's Kitchen is a stall in a food court. We did not know what to expect from it, especially because we are not from here. It is a relatively small place with no pretension but with delicious food! We ordered the Lomi soup (slightly altered for my pescatarian diet), the fried fish and the vegetarian lumpia. My friend raved about the soup. She loved it! And we also really enjoyed the garlic fried rice that came with the fish. Everything was very good and we even had a very large amount of lumpia. It's too bad we discovered this place the night before our departure, because I would have definitely gone back several times and try all their different dishes. I have to say, the highlight of our experience at Emma's Kitchen was the service. The gentleman was so nice and friendly! The service was quick and the food was fresh. I highly recommend it!

Wow! I had the Crispy Pata Kare Kare and the Pork Sinigang. When I first heard of Kare Kare with Crispy Pata, I wondered how it would taste, since it's usually made with oxtail. Then I tried it and it was the most awesome combination! The Kare Kare itself tasted so good on its own, then they add the Crispy Pata and it just makes it so much better! The service was fairly quick and the food was made fresh. Honestly, this is probably my most favorite Filipino restaurant ever!
