I was so excited when I read about this place and saw the menu. I was really craving some hot fish, and Fish and Chips seemed like a great place for dinner. First of all, this is a to-go only spot. There are tables on the boardwalk, so you can eat there and compete with the birds, but sitting over the water is nice. Ordered the 3 item combo with tempura battered fish, calamari and coconut shrimp, which comes with fries or rice, and about 2 tablespoons of coleslaw (basically a garnish). I got two small fish sticks, 2 coconut shrimp about the size of a 50 cent piece, and 3 heavily breaded (bulk frozen) calamari rings. This might have been ok for a light lunch, but not dinner. It really seemed more appropriate for a kids meal. Although the fish actually tasted pretty good, there was so little of it, it was gone before I could appreciate it. The 3 little calamari rings were rubbery with no dipping sauce, and the two tiny coconut shrimp (also no sauce), were barely memorable. Had I known this was the serving size and quality, I would have chosen a different place for dinner. Definitely skip anything other than the fish. The rest is freezer food with heavy breading. Two orders of a fish basket or fish tacos may make an adult size entree. Good lunch option not dinner.Parking: Parking only in the plaza lot. No direct parking for this restaurant.Kid-friendliness: The meals all seem kid friendly sizes.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessibility. Only steps to access this place from the backside of the plaza. No ramps available for wheelchair accessibility.

Ive had school cafeteria food better than this meal. Frozen food, no drink refills. In a nice area but come with little expectations

Good fish tacos and fish and chips. Super windy day but enjoyed it out on deck by water. Service was prompt and friendly.

This is my favorite place to get fish and chips on the island. I make it a point to go at least once every time I come to the Big Island. My friend had the crab cakes and said they were delicious, as well. Fair prices and yummy food. There is a gazebo with ample seating if you choose to sit by the man-made lake and enjoy your treats. Be aware of the birds who have obviously been fed by previous patrons-they don't really bother you, but they do fly around and sometimes give you the side-eye for not feeding them.Parking: Lots of parking for the Kings Shopping centerKid-friendliness: They have a small Keiki menu.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to get to the restaurant.

Nice little stall in the back of King shops, much better price per value than anything else in the area. Fish tacos were tasty as heck.

My mom loves fish and chips. Came here right from the airport. Fish was tasteless, no seasoning, not even salt... the worst fish and chips I've ever had.

The fish and coconut shrimp were amazing. Service was very efficient and the staff friendly. Sitting outside and a more laid back feel had me know I was back on the islands. I'd definitely come back here
