Strange, non-interactive experience of using a QR to order and pay for breakfast. Plus the menu at this location has far fewer options which is quite disappointing. The food was fine but not something I’d rush back to experience. The outdoor seating is nice, I can imagine it might be less enticing if the plaza is busy but we came on a quiet weekday morning.

Great place to eat. Uncrowded friendly good service. Benedict delicious‼. Great with personalized orders too., like spinach added at no charge.

A nice breakfast spot. Decent coffee. Sandwich was a bit dry. The potatoes are fantastic, however! And the staff is wonderful.

Delicious food, served quickly and convenient phone menu and ordering. Fun selection of island birds hanging around, if you are a birder or animal lover. Great place to see the rosy cheeked love birds that live on the island. Bottomless coffee would have been nice!

Lava Java literally never disappoints. My favorite dishes are the classic breakfast (meat, toast, and eggs) and the eggs Benedict. Always tastes perfect, and the service is awesome. The employees put in alot of effort to make sure you're taken care of. The ambience is also very nice, as you're in town. It's a very small town vibe when you sit down.

Bad food, tons of noise from traffic. Got the ahi poke bowl and the rice wasn't even cooked. How do you mess up rice? Find out by visiting island lava Java.

Not offering wifi at a coffee shop is wild. Definitely would be more inclined to come back regularly if I could work remotely from my laptop. Coffee was good though.

We order a latte and coffee, we placed the older ourselves on their computer. We paid and sat to enjoy our drinks with the pastry we got from somewhere else. The manager (Tomo) I believe that’s her name, told us very rudely we can’t eat there, we have to leave. The outdoor sitting area was only 20% full, it’s not like they were busy. No policy says posted and she told us after she got our money. The same time on the other table, two of their customers were chased by roosters who were after their food and could not enjoy their breakfast, but (manager) was focusing on us instead of helping them. But I still had my latte and my pastry and left.
