Best Mexican Food on the Big island. No other place does it right like this place does. The rice is nit just mushy sushi grain rice. They actually do it right and bake and split the graim to become fluffy. Carnitas is not wet either soaking and just tossed on. They put on the grill and crisp the edges of the meat. Like i said, if you want to find someplace close to Mexi - Cali Mexican food. Go to this place! No other like Mexican food here like Los Tres Mex and i had them all to find the best one on this island. Thank you Los Tres Mex for making sure the time and dedication to your food is superb. Mahalo nui loa

The area they are located in is a little far back and sorta just empty, seats and that are not too great.
Food was awesome in terms of taste, we got nachos and tacos, and enchilada. So the nachos were great, they werent shy on the quantities of the sauces and stuff, and it blended really well,
Enchiladas were fine, a little too fatty but good, would eat again
Tacos were fine as well, but kind of generic.
Paid around 60$ for 4 peoples’ meal, do a bit on the pricier side, and totally some room to grow, but it was nice

Despite another review saying this place is gone, it is perfectly alive and well and delicious as of Aug. 15 2024.
I had enchiladas and a crunchy beef taco. All of it was delicious. Their salsa is amazing. I could almost drink it, it was so good.
It's not a fancy place but it is not meant to be. Just good food.
Note there are 3 tables (4 chairs each) inside and another 3 tables outside for seating.
They are closed Sun-Tuesday but open the other days.

Disclaimer: do NOT buy! I bought Tres Combo and pork Quesadillas. I am going to start off by saying that we waited at least a good 40 minutes to get our food. Next, I am going to point out that everything was so over-salted! The meat was dry and so salty my tongue shriveled up. Next I am going to say, is, the lettuce in the tacos was boiled, soggy, and disgusting. The only one good thing about the whole meal overall was, I had ordered one of their Mexican sodas, and it tasted divine. The end, and please do not torture yourself by buying from this hideous "restaurant"

I used to like this place. Lately the quality of food has diminished and the wait times are unusually long. I recently ordered Carne Asada tacos and the meat was chewy, tough and the entire meal was not edible. It's one of the worst Mexican dishes I've had. It takes a lot for me to have to care enough to write this. It was so bad, and cheap, it looked like something you get out of a cafeteria. Extremely poor quality, which is disappointing. Also, for $20, it's a complete rip off. I won't be returning to this restaurant, but I like them as people. I do hope they get their Mojo back.
We came here because of the good reviews and were willing to overlook the hole in the wall atmosphere. The food was gross and the kids were the only ones who didn’t get food poisoning because they had a simply cheese quesadilla with no meat. Taco bell is better.

The food is a five, the wait is a 1! Was it worth it? Yes. Would I go back? Yes. Would I order 1hr before I want it for? Absolutely, maybe 1.5hrs, lol. Great island hospitality, excellent FRESH food at fair prices. Yumm.

The food was very good. It was somewhat hard to find because it is located in a building with several other restaurants. But we really enjoyed the food which was very authentic tasting.
Parking: It is a large shopping center with many other businesses so there are always parking spots.
