Nui Italian

Best food ever! We dined at Nui a couple times during our stay and the food highlights were the risotto which was decadently rich and creamy and the lemon olive oil cake with lemon sorbet. But even better than the food was the staff from the hostesses to the servers to the bussers.... All were efficient and friendly. Of special note were our servers Helen one night and Resty another night. Helen was efficient and knowledgeable and Resty was both with a fun personality. The ambiance was lovely with an Italian flare.

The food and service was awesome. Our only negative really is the amount of flies. We had to contend with while eating our meal. Other than that you guys did a great job for an Italian restaurant. It could use a little bit more Italian decor, thank you.

This is just a terrible restaurant. Pizza came out on 5 minutes so weird. Misto overly fried and well done. Don't go. It's inside the Hilton grand vacation place

We have eaten at Nui twice now. The first night we ate in the main dining room. We had tradition Italian fare. The meatball appetizer was excellent. The tricolor salad was also very good - loved the dressing. The chicken parm was also very good. The second time we sat in the outside area which we didn't enjoy as much. We just felt a little away from the action. We had the Roman pizza. It was very good. We had the pepperoni, but added sausage and mushrooms to it. I would highly recommend adding extra ingredients or the toppings may be a little sparse. Overall we had two very good experiences, and it is family friendly!

For the price, I expected a lot more. However, like everything else at the Hilton Waikaloa, prices are outrageous. The veal saltimbocca had tiny (resembles a French portion, not Italian) and really wasn't prepared well as the veal was tough. I doubt that any tenderization was done beforehand, like most well prepared veal dishes. On a brighter note, the service was excellent and very Aloha.

It was a very nice venue with a nice sunset view. However, a very small selection on the menu! You would expect more possibilities from what is billed as a fine Italian restaurant. The meals we had were good but, with little choice, we had to accept what was offered, which would not have been our first choice in another restaurant with a more extensive menu. We will likely not return.

Remarkable service, selections, portions, libations! The stone fruit salad and fresh focaccia were absolutely delicious and we are craving them again. A true carbonara preparation was a wonderful treat. A truly memorable dining experience.

Great food, service, and ambience. During our vacation we had pizza for take-out and then dined in the next night. Pizzas, Carbonara, and desserts are all amazing (Tiramisu and Lemon Cake). Will return!

Our server was amazing and very attentive. Our food was amazing the pizza is so good and has a great amount of toppings!

We went for our anniversary. They seated us outside and the sunset was spectacular. I had a lilikoi Italian soda and my husband had a beer. We had the thin crust pizza which had plenty of crust for us. It had artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes chicken mozzarella red onions. It was very tasty. We ordered the tiramisu for dessert and she brought us an Italian occasion dessert not on the menu. We enjoyed that one too. It was a nice surprise. The monorail shuttle would occasionally drive by and the driver would wave. It was very nice and a beautiful romantic view.

What a beautiful restaurant! We were seated right away and our server took our drink orders. Amazing cocktails and the food as so good! We got the meat pizza and two salads. It was more than enough food. Our waitress was so nice and helpful with menu selections. The views are spectacular. Highly recommend this restaurant

Group of four people. One had tuna and said it had no flavor. Two shared spaghetti, meatballs were good but sauce and noodles were not good. Forth individual had pizza which ended up being the best meal but nothing to brag about. We will not be going back for another meal

Food was excellent. Helen, our server, was great and had good menu suggestions. The manager was friendly and engaging. And the sunset views were incredible. A great meal for our first night of vacation.

Hellen was great! We got the steak and spaghetti and meatballs. The corn with the steak was very good. 

Have dined here multiple times, always have great service and food is consistently very good. MJ made us feel like we are family every time we visit. The new manager, Pasha, welcomed us and ensured any special requests were taken care of. We always leave with a smile on our faces.
