Very smooth shave ice and delicious ice cream. I had a few of the fresh fruit flavors and the Mac nut crunch ice cream. Very good and much better than a different shave ice we had on the island.
A friend recommended this as the island's best shave ice. Unfortunately, there is disagreement. Although this location is ideal for the Waikoloa area, downtown Kailua-Kona has better options-most notably Scandinavian Shave Ice.
Best shave ice on the Big Island!
The ice is unbelievably soft, and the flavors are fresh and real—not the usual syrupy stuff. I tried the mango-lilikoi combo with mochi and ice cream, and it was heavenly. Staff were super friendly and made great recommendations. It’s tucked into the Kings Shops, so it’s easy to find, and totally worth the wait. Don’t miss it if you’re in Waikoloa!
