We had a fabulous dinner last evening. The manager, Tom, brought over our drinks because our waitress was busy. Three of us ordered the meatloaf which was Roy's signature dish and it was outstanding. We were comped the chocolate soufflé since we were staying at the Marriott Waikoloa. When my friend asked if she can have the upside down pineapple cake the waitress said there is no substitute with the free desert that was offered. Next thing we know the manager is at our table and our waitress is serving the soufflés. She removes one and places the upside down pineapple cake in front of my friend. Needless to say, it was a memorable night at Roy's. A huge shoutout to Tom the manager and Heather, our waitress.

Scallops perfectly prepared, beautiful presentation, ahi nachos great, shanks tender and full of flavor, the chocolate soufflé is worth the wait. Service was impeccable. Looking forward to next visit in a few weeks.

The food was,as always delicious! I had the butterfish and my husband the ahi. Pricey but worth it.

We have always been pleased at any Roy's we've visited. Last night's dinner was delicious and the service was excellent. We wanted dessert but just did not have the room.

We dined at Roy's Waikoloa twice in a week - and both times were outstanding. The second time we had the Hamachi Collar entree - because the appetizer we had our first visit was so good! It was without a doubt the best hamachi collar we've ever eaten. In fact, it wad one of the best meals we've ever eaten. The bbq sauce is delectable, the hamachi melt in our mouths tender and the flavor shined through the sauce.. The herbed polenta was a good compliment to the sweet-spicy bbq sauce. Just fabulous!

Our server was excellent and informative!! Just the right amount of attention. Also, the person who cleared away the dishes was a great multitasker! He would clear the used dishes from a couple of tables at the same time-I.e., he took entry dishes from one table and our salad dishes at the same time.

Poke nachos were not good (raw fish did not seem fresh and it was too sweet). Liked the Brussels sprouts. Butter fish and as I were tasty bit pricey (though so is everything in Hawaii). Ambience feels like a super casual lunch spot on a golf course with no charm. Service was friendly and attentive enough once we finally got seated after a 15 minute wait when the place was not full but the hostess was MIA.

Our waitress was wonderful. Our food was delicious. The keiko menu was stacked! Such a great value for the price. We had such a a wonderful dinner and the drink specials were to die for.

Amazing service. The food was out of this world. The wait for the food was worth it( was not a long wait just felt long). Our waiter was amazing. We went for our anniversary and everyone that greated/ helped us told us Happy Anniversary. Overall an amazing place, and to our waited yesterday thank you for everything that you did for us.

Menu on open table didn't match actual menu so couldn't order what I wanted / why I chose Roy's plus our table was in the corner of an overflow room that belongs in a cafeteria

Food has gone down (we've been going here and to other Roys for over 20 years) Ribs are still the best. Kampachi collar is not worth it. Salmon, which used to be #1 has slipped incredibly. Used to be soooo much better! Molten cake is still on point. Server gal was bad. Was not to attentive, treated us like tourists all night and pushed too hard for more drinks. Wish is was better! Our dinner party of four adults had a wonderful evening and meal at Roy's restaurant Waikoloa. Our server was Cameron, and he was great as he was friendly, upbeat, attentive, and responsive to our needs. We shared the delicious Szechuan style barbecue pork ribs which were so flavorful and tender. One of our party had the butter fish, which was succulent and tasty. Two of us shared the early evening three course steak special, and the steak was cooked perfectly. This special came with an assortment of wonderful vegetables as well as a delicious Caesar salad with Hamachi as a starter. We all finished up with the chocolate soufflé and vanilla ice cream for dessert, which topped off a wonderful evening. The ambience of the restaurant is nice because of the view of the lake outside. We will definitely return to this restaurant during our stay on this vacation.

We have been going to Roy's for over 20 years. It has become incredibly expensive and the food doesn't live up to the prices. Although the service was good, $70 for an average entree is absurd.

Good food, terrible service. Waitress was disinterested, had a bad attitude. Never checked if our food was OK after it was delivered, forgot my wine - had to send someone to find her. She also made flippant comments when I expressed my dissatisfaction. Would have called the manager but the meal was a special occasion and I did not have the energy to degrade the experience even further.

All the food was excellent except our Mahi and our steak dinners were overcooked. Management replaced my Mahi.
