IT WAS CLOSED!!!!!!!!! Apparently the restaurant has closed however there is no notice on the door and OpenTable continues to take reservations. We were left with nowhere to eat in a busy resort area. Very poor customer service OpenTable!
Excellent dining experience. We're sorry that this restaurant is closing. It was one of our favorites!
Horrible food and expensive. Loved the Sansei on Maui in Kihei but this is not the same at all. Probably one of the worst dinners I've ever had.
They are closing on June 20th and I see why. Menu is bare minimum and no one really seems to care working there. We asked for a fork and got a disposable plastic utensil packet.
Unfortunately this was not the birthday celebration I was hoping for. Our panko crusted ahi was not fresh, our steaks were overcooked and my entree came out almost 10 minutes after his. Our server tried to compensate for the poor preparation but it was just not a good experience. I have never been disappointed at Sensei and I was very surprised that their standards were so low.
Great food and good service! The quality of food was very high and the service was fairly fast.
Honestly after having been coming here for 15 years this place is clearly slipping. Prices are way up (as if it was at a resort) and the quality of the sushi is down. Cleanliness of the restaurant and bathroom also are noticeable in their need for attention.
So disappointed in the menu!!! All the favorites that I loved are gone!!!! The menu is now just one page of sadness. And 3% to the kitchen? For real? Why are you even in business if you can't pay your staff or have a menu with anything on it?
Waiter was great for our party of 10. Restaurant was super casual but the food was excellent. Our group enjoyed everything from sushi to steaks to salads and desserts.
Food was okay but not special. The waitress had an artificial smile that never reached her eyes. The restaurant wasn't full, yet she forgot to bring us more water when asked. On the reservation I specifically noted that we were celebrating an anniversary, but nothing was ever said or acknowledged by the staff.

Sansei has been a long time favorite but we were disappointed this time round. The food was just okay but the service was below expectation. It seemed like our server had not been properly trained.
Excellent server tonight; wonderful food. Only complaint was very very loud music. We always return.
I am saddened to say that we did not have a good experience with the food last night. We've eaten here many times and even chose it one Valentines Day. But last night, the fish was “ok”, the rolls had an over abundance of sauce on them (maybe because the fish was just “ok”?), and the fried Brussels sprouts were soggy. Hopefully, just an off night.
AVOID this place. Dirty and overpriced. Numerous options in the area with better value, atmosphere, and service.
Great sushi as well as a number of interesting and creative seafood dishes, non-seafood, ands appetizers. Service was super friendly and considerate of our toddler and group.
