The performance was awesome, but the way tables were spaced most people couldn't see the stage. By the time the show started, people either had to stand up, or pick up their chairs and move to the side of the seating area so they could have a clear view of the stage. The food was very bland. The pig had no smokey flavor to it whatsoever. It tasted like it had been cooked in an oven and not smoked underground all day as they stated. It was very dry and not juicy at all. It was very disappointing as the pig is center piece of the luau. As for the rest of the food, all of the meat seemed overcooked, as it was dry. The poké was good, but for the price of a ticket it was a extremely disappointing luau and overall experience.

Great front row seats if you pay extra. The meal and show were amazing. Had a great time and sunset was amazing to watch from here.

This was our first luau. We paid for the upgrade, so we had close seats to stage, came with a real flower lei and a box of cookies.
To me, it was great overall, being my first one I have nothing to compare it to. I thought they did a great job with the cultural and historical significance behind various elements.
Venue: you're outside with limited to no shade.
Open bar: decent selection and both bartenders were great
Food/buffet: I thought it was a good variety and allowed for ways to try new things. The shredded pork was really tasty, though some parts were over salted
Show: Again, first one, but I thought it was a good experience from start to finish. Yes the fire dance was crazy cool. But they also did a good job with some audience participation.
MISC: they have an onsite photographer, this seems a little pricey, but everything in Hawaii is pricey. Our upgrade did get us $10 off (small win)

Was super excited for this, but what a let down. Food was mediocre, the entertainment was meh. I’ll give it to the fire dance guy, he was great.
They make you stand in line until opening instead of just seating as you came, lots of older people forced to wait to sit. They need to rethink this as everything was obviously set up and ready to go well before the 430 opening time. Lucky it was cloudy because there is NO shade. Bar/drinks were mediocre at best. The price is way too much for what you get. They have a photographer on hand and charge $40 for a single photo. What a joke, this photo should be included for the price of what you’re paying per person, should be given one photo per family.
I highly recommend going to a different luau as this one was not that great, I have been to several and can’t recommend this one to anyone. From the time it started, the entertainment was really nothing special, it was SO slow moving the entire night. They have these giant light poles that will block your view if you’re seated on the sides. There was really nothing that made this special or gave it a wow factor until the fire dance.
The sunset in the distance was probably the best thing about this.

Top notch food and entertainment. Getting to eat some of the puaʻa after it was unearthed from the baking pit(imu?) was so authentic. All the food was delicious, the entertainment was top notch, and the drinks were not weak. We purchased the Premier seating, and I had forgotten to call to see if we would be given flower leis as I had seen in previous reviews they were nut leis, but we DID receive flower leis when we were being seated. Great evening!

Food was really nothing great. We sat in the dark for show to start for 1/2 hour. Show ok - only 6 dancers (3 men and 3 women) for all dances. Fire dance was good. Definitely don’t pay extra for front row seats.

This place is a bit of a scam. Do not pay for the premium seats because they might seat you in the same seats like regular. Nothing special not worth the price.

We didn’t care too much for this luau. It didn’t seem worth the 200$ price tag. The tables were crowded, I was elbow to elbow with my neighbor. The performance lacked enthusiasm, compared to the other luaus we have been to. The food was good, the drinks were good but that’s about it. I also thought it seemed “cheap” to have local vendors in there selling merchandise

It was so hot in the sun. It did have the feeling of a traditional luau and that was because there was a fashion show in the middle of the event

This has to be one of best, if not the best on the Island of Hawai’i. We recommend this luau highly.

This was the laziest excuse for a Luau I've ever seen. No greeting on entry. Plastic card tables with cheap table clothes. There was zero "Hawaiian experience" points.
The food was dry, and the quality of a mall food court, would be kind to say. The buffet was setup and they released us for food. Almost immediately after all tables got one plate, they started treating it down. All you can eat buffet? Don't think so... there were also 20 flies on each food option having their portion.
The entertainment was meh, and the ambience was non existent. I've been to other events where the area is transformed and you're transported back in time. There was an experience to it. For half the price I might add. This was the biggest disappointment, tourist trap, money grab I saw on our entire vacation. For the money they make on this, they could do much much better.
The entertainment is good & fun but the food & no table service are very DISAPPOINTING for $199, absolutely not worth it! The locations is nice and other hotel guests can watch the show (without need to pay be $199), the food is like variations of “golden coral” type buffet but less choices. It’s really overpriced. I paid too much but the other guest were just easily watched the show from the grounds in which the only good part, skip the food & etc. it wasn’t good anyway. We the paying guest seated cramped. I am very disappointed, we expect better food & service for the $199, absolutely not worth $199, I should have use it for other activities, so do not waste your money for this!
