Overall, great experience. Lovely service by Rachelle , prompt and attentive. Eclectic menu . Highly recommend this place.
We had the most incredible sunset dinner at Kapa. Friends in town and looking for a place that offered spectacular views and accommodations for keiki as well as adults. Kapa did not disappoint. Our server, Rachelle, was so friendly and attentive. The live music added to the whole experience. I highly recommend the Resort Mai Tai and the ceviche! We will DEFINITELY be back again! Thank you!
The shade is spectacular! Distant view of the ocean is nice! The pina colada was good but not my favorite. The water is disgusting! Filter needs to be changed. The bartender oddly asked us to move seats from one side of the bar to the other because why? My husband told him we are comfortable where we are.
My girlfriend and I went for her birthday the other night. Kapa is a little, hidden gem of a restaurant along the Wailea ocean walk. We had great meal and even better service thanks to our server Linda! Good vibes all around. ♥️
went here with my family for lunch and it was a nice time. I'm vegan, and was impressed they had soy chorizo (soyrizo). the vegan tacos were pretty good (and the most substantial vegan food option. shared a spring roll order with my fam, the peanut sauce was tasty.
didn't get a drink even though I wanted to as they were >$20, which just seems wild to me for a pina colada.
the service was wonderful too!
Came across this gem on my way back from the Wailea Coast Walk. Great spot to watch the sunset with a $12 lager! Service was splendid - Guy did a great job! Will definitely return!
Very nice experience. Beautiful view of the sunset from outdoor table facing west over the ocean. Wonderful ambience and experience. - Eric
This is inside the Marriott resort, near one of the pools. As such, it’s a poolside grill, not a fine dining establishment. That being said, I had the daily special of a pan fried Mahi Mahi filet on a sandwich. The portion of fish was about an inch thick and perfectly cooked to a light flaky texture. It was a fantastic sandwich! It came with a side of fries, salad or fruit. I opted for the fruit. Being at a resort in Hawaii, I expected a tropical assortment, but instead received something more at home at Denny’s - cantaloupe, orange slices, and a couple blueberries and strawberries. The service was great. Everything was superb except for the fruit
Casual setting overlooking pool and beach Lovely setting Fish tacos were yummy, Mahi mahi sandwiches were well cooked
Went because of the ratings. Not always the experience you expect. We arranged our first day on the island to be here at sunset. Great view. Good ratings on Google Maps. Overpriced (even by resort standards).
We sat at the bar to take in the sunset (which was gorgeous). But $23 for a signature cocktail is a little steep. We had a large late lunch, so settled on some appetizers for dinner. We got the coconut shrimp (three large shrimp) and the Korean Fried Chicken Bites. The shrimp was about average, but the chicken was interesting. A combination of sweet and spicy (which is always a hit in my book), and a larger portion than I was expecting. $150 for appetizers and cocktails? I'll let you be the judge.

Service and location is wonderful... food is subpar and same price as dining at Four Seasons but not nearly as good...
Catch of the day was amazing. Margarita excellent. And to finish it off with the chocolate torte. Our waitress was the best. So friendly. Will definitely comeback again.
Great view of the Maui sunset with live ukulele music, tiki torches and very tasty food. The carrot and banana curry was very nice as a vegetarian meal. It was my birthday. I noted that on my reservation and they surprised me with a very generous bowl of ice cream with chocolate sauce with a flower and candle garnish. I asked the sweet waiter how she knew and she said she noticed it on my file. This never happened to me on any other birthday reservation on this app so I was delighted. We watched the sunset with West Maui, Molokai and Lanai in the distance. This is casual by the Marriott Pool. More formal restaurant is upstairs.
Poolside cafe with a couple of vegetarian options. The vermicelli salad is mostly vermicelli and is served cold; next time I'll try the kula root salad which looked delicious.

Menu was basic, nothing stood out as unusual, local or particularly flavorful. Pretty basic for the price, even in Maui. For example, “local” ceviche was shrimp ceviche, featured fish was mahi mahi, which is fine I guess in most places but a let down when you're in Hawaii. Expensive cocktails at $23 ea. Servers were nice but didn't consider our reservation request until we arrived, which was too late. Pretty views. Not bad for a poolside bar, but I will look elsewhere in the future.
