Home Maid Bakery opened in 1960, started by Joseph & Monica Kozuki. The main bakery and store is located on the west side of Lower Main Street in Wailuku, next door to Tokyo Tei restaurant in the next lot over. Came for coffee and donuts. Both were delicious. Staff were friendly friendly too. Coffee is from a large coffee pot that you can pour yourself- no lattes but coffee was still tasty. I had a cinnamon twist… yum!!! They also have lots of prepared meals in the fridge (we didn’t get these) but they had many options and looked tasty!Parking: Huge free lot

What a great bakery to stumble into! We drove the north island loop from Kaanapali clockwise and decided to try this gem out. So so so happy we did!Delicious malassadas and my teen daughter said of her chocolate donut, “this is the best donut I’ve ever had!”We ended up grabbing a loaf of sliced Hawaiian bread and French bread. Confident they will be excellent! ?
