I've tried only one thing from S&J Bakery. My workplace orders it annually come Thanksgiving time and most recently a co-worker picked one up for us to devour as an afternoon dessert. DESSERT: Pumpkin Custard Pie First off, I'm a huge custard pie fan. Pumpkin, I'll eat but don't enjoy it as much as my eggy love. Mix the two together and you've got a damn tasty concoction. I had a chance to try S&J's chocolate haupia pie. The crust of their pie is flaky and crisp. Other pudding type pies I've had have fallen over after its been cut. I was pleasantly surprised to see that S&J's chocolate and haupia retain its shape. The combination of coconut flavor and chocolate is great.
