My sister now lives in Germany and we meet every year in Vegas. I always bring her omiyage from home. Last year along with all the local treats I brought her Patticakes snowball cookies. So we are meeting again soon (in a week). I asked her what does she want from Hawaii. Usually it's li hing moi stuff, cuttlefish, arare....the usual. The Patticakes Brownie Bites are fantastic! My husband was in the hospital and I wanted to bring the nurses a treat to show our appreciation for their care and kindness. No surprise, the brownie bites were a huge hit.

Bought the lemon bars from the Honolua Store and they are the BEST lemon bars I have EVER had!! The bottom dough is yummy, the filling not too sweet or too tart and I don't know what the top layer is, but it's just super delicious!! Have gone back to get more!
