Kalei's Lunchbox - Maui Lani

I was ordered 12:10pm for pick up the lunchbox. They said 20min and that is 12:35pm but that was so longer 50min. This was so busy and longer lines today. This is good food!!

Wow, I just ate the surf and turf, and that has to be the best cheesesteak I've ever had. Online ordering and pickup makes this place great for quick pickup.

Local goodness that was recommended to my husband and I. I had the shrimp curry with mac salad and he got the fish sandwich. Everything was DELICIOUS.

The last day of our Maui trip we were at Iao Needles State Park; we were hungry and needed something easy, located between the state park and the airport, and we ended up at Kalei's Lunchbox.

While we chose to eat there basically at random, we were more than satisfied with our choice. I got a surf & turf (Philly steak sandwich with shrimp on it), and my wife got the chicken katsu. Both were delicious and the portions were generous... more than enough to hold us over during the long flight home. Would definitely eat there again!

We happened across Kalei's Lunchbox while googling last minute for a place to eat, and we are so, so glad we did! My husband and my father both got the loco moco, and agreed later on that it was the best one they had on our trip. My mom had the mahi ala kalei and loved it. I had the furikake mochiko chicken and I am STILL thinking of it weeks later. I am not normally that into fried chicken, and it was one of the best meals I had while traveling the islands. Desperately looking up recipes to recreate it since we live about 7,000 miles away. We all also thought the mac salad was the best one of our trip as well. Service was also very friendly! Wish we could go back, but do yourself a favor at least and eat here. :)
