This is our second trip to Lorraine‘s shave ice. She continues to be the most sweetest wonderful person we have met on this island of Maui. We had the shave, ice mango and pineapple. Chitty chatted for at least 45 minutes and just had a wonderful time/experience visiting with her.

Lorraine was very nice and the atmosphere was nice and calm with very little other people. The shaved ice was excellent. It was fluffy and soft and there was a large selection of flavors. The banana bread is definitely worth getting.
The whole experience of driving to Lorraine’s place and the time spent with there was fantastic. The one mile road (one lane, cliff) leading to this place is adventurous, tougher than the “Road to Hana”. The views from Lorraine’s backyard is amazing, we spent more than half hour chit chatting with her. The shaved ice itself is not the best I had, but views and the experience is everlasting.

The snow cone was so mediocre and the people were rude for me using the table to change my baby's dirty diaper and my husband asking about where the snow cone flavors come from. Also, you have to drive down a one-lane road on a cliff to get here. No big until a car comes in the opposite direction and you have to decide who backs up, unfortunately for me it was....me. Going backwards on a cliff with a lane the size of a parking space, no thanks, not again for a bad snow cone.
She's amazing, the Banana Bread always amazing, the view behind her place into the bay is amazing and today we tried her Lilikoi pie... My gosh it was one of the most amazing deserts I've had.
Just sat there looking out chatting away with my wife and I, she's always awesome, don't miss this stop on the NW island drive!

Lorraine is the kindest soul. A cyclist in our party crashed, and Lorraine provided us with water, bandages, and her home phone to make a call. Highly recommend stopping by to buy some bread and visit with her.

Shave ice was the best I have ever had. Ice was super finely shaved and soft, and the syrups are very good and pre-chilled to keep the ice from melting.
We left with banana bread and roasted coconut that were outstanding. Less sweet than some which really allows you to enjoy the flavor.
We ended up ordering a lilikoi pie and picking it up for our Thanksgiving dessert and it was fantastic. Imagine a passion fruit version of key lime pie.
Such a happy stop on a pleasant drive exploring the back side of west Maui. Cash only!

What a great place to stop on a beautiful drive! The backyard is so beautiful, Lorraine couldn’t be more nice and accommodating, and the shaved ice was wonderful. Ask to see her crocodile.
