I’m not one to leave a review like ever but waited 2 hours at the fair for it to be raw and unseasoned NOT EVEN SALT, it was cut on the same cutting board as raw meat using the same knife they were cutting raw meat with. Actually took two bites and spit it out. Not even to mention it was cooked on a FRICKING PANINI PRESS! But props to the two girls running it it was very busy and I don’t mean to be mean just very disappointing and time wasting

I am happy to see this local family get a brick and mortar location. For those of you that are from upcountry. These are the guys that used to do the ono BBQ on the weekends a few years ago. Then they were in Lahaina for a little while then at Foodland Maui Lani. Now they have this place. The food is still great and the value is awesome. These guys really give you bang for your buck. This trip I ordered the BBQ Steak plate and the BBQ chicken Plate. They both come with rice and green salad and their house dressing which I love the taste. I have tried almost everything on the menu with the exception of some of the specials and I can say they have some of the best BBQ plates on the island. I really like their BBQ chicken the flavor is all the way thru the meat. The location is new to them so it is still a little bare but they are working on it. I highly recommend these guys. The service is really good and I really like the fact that I am supporting hard working locals than know how to crank out good food at a good price. I recommend stopping by. The nice thing is you can buy the meat by the pound if you extra hungry.

I’ve been buying the bbq chicken and steak for years from this family when they were at Foodland and absolutely love it. I’m so glad to see they opened up in Wailuku! The salad dressing is great too!

They used to be in Wailuku Foodland. Food is always great, and I am especially fond of the teri pork. I don't know what's in the salad dressing, but the stuff is amazing! I eat it on everything!!!

Steaks and Cakes has gone above and beyond for a family they don’t even personally know. We had not ordered enough food for a family event and they dropped everything to make us more food. It has that hole in the wall charm! And the food is so amazing with such amazing prices! Well worth stopping. Don’t waste time eating chain fast food. This was quick and delicious. And so wholesome.
Absolutely Amazing – Teriyaki Chicken & Nutella Explosion Rolls Heaven! Wow, wow, wow! This place blew me away! First of all, the teriyaki chicken was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had on Maui - perfectly grilled with great flavor. It was savory and slightly sweet, with the perfect balance of teriyaki that left me wanting more. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better… I tried the Nutella Explosion rolls. Talk about heaven on a plate! Soft, gooey, and perfectly spiced with a generous swirl of Nutella, they were the ultimate sweet finish. I'm coming back to try all the sweets and the BBQ burger. 😁
