These employees are rude to customers on the phone at Kahului location buts it’s ok I work airport make sure word gets out

Reading the negative reviews really surprised me. We’ve been going to that specific location at least once a week for about 6 weeks now and two of the women are polite, no small talk, which is fine with us, and the other which I am guessing is the manager? She’s friendly and engages with small talk. The ingredients for the sandwiches taste and look much fresher and this location is pretty clean, compared to the Kahului Subway ( next to Maui Mall.) We went to Maui Mall Subway couple weeks ago and the counters looked a bit dirty, it seems like they don’t wipe it down as often as they should, and the drink area was disgusting. They definitely need to upkeep that store. We will stick with Wailuku Subway for sure!

The customer service at this location is extremely disappointing. The staff, particularly the girls working there, seem completely uninterested in their jobs. They don’t acknowledge customers upon arrival and will often ignore you while they walk around or chat with each other. It’s frustrating to just stand there waiting to be helped until they finally decide to take your order. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy is unacceptable — serious improvements in training or staffing are needed.

went in about 3pm, no one was in the shop except two young ladies making sandwiches.
No welcome, No eye contact, stood there for a couple minutes before i was asked what i wanted. Once they were done making my order, was not asked if i wanted a soda or chips with it. Decided to just go with it and forego the added extras. Very disappointed with the lousy service. Been to many subways but this was by far the worst experience. I realize they were busy making orders but no excuse for ignoring the walk in customers. Will not be back to that location.

Maui

The young girl who works the night shift sucks. Doesn’t say hello or “be right with you” or smile, she has either airpods or headphones on, can’t tell if she’s listening to me or her music and it feels awkward to talk to someone who wears those things while taking my order. Will talk smack when you’re standing right there. Her attitude is shocking and management should definitely look into that. Service is very slow also. How embarrassing.

Ordered doordash and half of my order is missing.

I ordered virtually on their website. I ordered a FootLong White Bread Tuna Sandwich, I added pickles, pepper Jack cheese, tomatoes, spinach, onions, mustard and pepper. I also ordered 3 cookies. When I went to go pick it up, I got home and opened up my sandwich. I realized that it was completely off! I received a FootLong White Bread Tuna with American White Cheese, Lettuce, and Pepper. That’s it! I paid over $15 for a sandwich to realize that I could of went behind the counter and did it by myself; for half of the price. I opened up my sandwich and there was multiple hairs! I forgot to mention that the workers seem like they are in hell! So rude and unprofessional. By the way, my cookies were burnt, not even edible. I tipped 10% and I do not wanna know how my food would look if I did a zero tip! Never ordering from them again!

I came at nearly closing time. Everything looked like they were set up for tomorrow. I felt a bit like I was imposing. Wrong! The two behind the counter encouraged me to order and even made me feel comfortable enough to dine in. That's a rare customer serviceattitude
