12/31/24 - Store is temporarily closed! We drove here to get some food for our flight and couldn't even find the store, seems they took the sign off. Owner should really update this on Google. After going to the stores website, we saw an update there of temporarily closed for this location.
Still giving five stars as their other location is incredible - we had gone there earlier in our trip and had enough time before our flight to go back to that location. Ube malasadas are the best - you don't even need to bother trying the other flavors. My partner also loved the spicy musubi but it seems to sell out early as they were sold out on our second visit.

We bought baked goods from the Sugar Beach Bake Shop in Kihei on a number of mornings since it was close to the our resort. Everything was very good. When you visit Maui be sure and stop by this place. However, you must get there early in the day as many items are sold out by 9.00 am!!!
A MUST stop!! I PROMISE you want to stop here!! All of the ladies were nice and kind. The food…AMAZING!!!! Macaroons so good!!! Pies, the absolute best you’ll ever have!! Make this stop on one of your first days, you’ll be so glad you did!
We stopped at the Sugar Beach Bake Shop in Kihei since it was close to the Grand Wailea and it was very good. The mini Banana Bread was delicious and the Caramel Apple Cheesecake was amazing. We were in Maui for 5 nights and came here in morning 3 times. When you visit Maui be sure and stop by this place because the staff is awesome as well.
The ladies here are the sweetest! We went several times in a week. The Malasadas are excellent as is the mini banana bread and the pies! Not as expensive as some of the other pie places!
I stopped in for breakfast treats 7-8 times during my month-long stay on Maui. I absolutely loved the lilikoi malasadas and the various scones. I'd get there at daybreak as they opened (before things were sold out) and either ate at the picnic tables out front or across the street in Kenolio Park. I also visited the location off of Maui Lani Parkway for an afternoon snack on a few occasions. I loved everything I tried.
So friendly and attentive! Beautiful bakery items and the carrot cake scones were excellent!! Lattes went wonderfully w/scone and macaron cookies
We had the lilikoi masaladas which were amazing! If you eat them when they are warm, they are even better! We also had the macadamia nut caramel roll which was delicious also so flaky and buttery. Definitely a worthwhile stop!
Just a small shop near an ABC store...we stopped in to check what they had...we picked up a coconut cream pie and it was delicious! We came back the next day...another coconut cream and also a chocolate banana...just as good!
What an incredible treat to taste a coconut cream pie as good as my momma's. The people are friendly and made it definitely worth the wait to get my goodies.

It’s been three years since we visited and it’s great to see everything is still yummy. The malasadas are made to order hot and fresh. Grabbed a couple of mini pies for later. We will definitely be going back before we head home. ❤️ Sugar Beach Bake Shop ❤️
Had to try this bakery based on reviews. Got there early at about 6:30. We were excited to try the Malasadas since everyone was raving about them. We tried the coconut, vanilla and another kind (can't remember the name) We were sort of disappointed. They were very dough and just ok. The coconut cream pie and the mango cheese cake were delicious! Chai latte was delicious as well.
Great little bakery but get there early as they sell out quickly! Great your bakery items here & fruit and veggies from the farmers market next door & you're almost set. The malasadas are all awesome, tried the coconut cream pie this time and it was great. Nice selection of sweet & savory items.
Great little bakery across from the condo where we like to stay in Kihei. They have a nice selection of pastries, cookies, and sweet and savory pies. On this trip to Maui I enjoyed their Coconut pie, several macaroons while my partner liked their Malasadas. We both liked the Bacon and Onion pie, although I would have liked more bacon and less onion. It's worth a stop if you're in the area, although I suggest you get there early before they sell out! This is a must stop for us when we are in Kihei.
Wonderful shop with delicious quiches and malasadas! Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Very friendly staff and definitely get the mango cheesecake!
