I love this place but they are often not open when they say they are. Which is very frustrating and sad when you are looking forward to it. I wish they would at least update they’re schedule or just simple be there.

Found this random truck along the side of the road and was probably the best açaí bowls we had in Hawaii. Added crushed Oreos and peanut butter. No frills bowl really but simple and fresh. Açaí was delicious. Came by the same road the next day trying to get one more bowl before our flight home but was too late ?

FAVORITE açaí bowl with cookie dough combo simple ingredients but it all comes together so nicely and deliciously. They have random hours throughout the week so be sure to follow them on Instagram b/c they will post before or day of when they'll be out in Waimanalo. You have to catch them if you can!

We try to stop by and get acai bowls at least once a month. They have large portions and aren't shy with the toppings. They use fresh fruits and the granola is really crunchy and delicious. I love how they put a good amount of honey on, some places are stingy with that but not Ruka bowls! We usually get the ruka dough as an add-on, which is homemade cookie dough. Very refreshing and ono! The owners are always so friendly and welcoming, love their food truck vibes! Their spicy ahi bowl is also very good. So good that when I got into the car I ate some before I got the chance to take a pic lol. It's not too spicy, pretty mellow for those that aren't tolerant to hot food. They incorporate fresh chopped round onions which I enjoy.Heading to Waimānalo? Then you definitely need to stop by and give Ruka Bowls a try!

We’ve just bought a third acai bowl, bc two just wasn’t enough with how tasty they are! And dragon fruit base even better! I had ruka, peanut butter and macadamia nuts added and it’s a bomb! We’ll be back for more!

DELICIOUS FOOD! Can't go wrong with any of their menu items. Strawberries 4pc filled for like $7/$8 (Nutella/Cookie Dough/ Cookie Butter) are absolutely yummy! Be careful because once you order, you'll crave it more & more. Which is a great thing for food places!They're taking the next 2 weeks off (03/05/23-03/18/23) per their Instagram page -definitely follow them for most up to date info!I'm specifically loving their banana bread ($6/$7)- which they have occasionally but it sells out fast! I love it warmed up with the cookie butter ($1 extra for it).So ono!! Didn't eat their açaí but all my family says it's definitely worth it!
The service is amazing! Their Ruka Bowls are to die for!!! Literally the best açaí bowl ever! We go all the time when we are craving a açaí bowl! The portion is perfect and really filling!

Totally enjoyed her açaí bowl! It was refreshing, fresh, and well constructed. Filling enough for me for a light lunch on a super hot day. Most of All.....she was super kind! I thought i had another $20 in my wallet... but... didn't. Had enough to pay for the bowl... so would be back later to buy the strawberries... she handed a box to me after she gave me the bowl. They were sooo delicious! Thank you sooo much!!! Will be back again... soon. Mahalo Nui Loa!

On time, courteous, and everything tastes great! She even answered my text messages considering that I don't have Instagram. The acai bowls are awesome! Though I kinda wish they take the stem out of the strawberry. The poke bowl is nicely balanced when ordering the combo but not very spicy.
