Delicious large BBQ plate for a good price with quick service and a laid back, welcoming atmosphere
My husband and I easily found parking in the lot beside the restaurant across from the police department. We got the two choice plate (teriyaki beef and katsu chicken with rice and mac salad) as well as a Diet Pepsi and Sierra Nevada. Our food arrived in less than five minutes, which was great because I was suddenly very hungry after smelling all the great food, and our server gave us a free Mac salad side too! The plate had generous portions and there was a station in the center of the dining area with different sauces to further customize - we went with the spicy soy sauce for the rice. There were some homemade dessert items and specials that we passed on this time. We’re looking forward to visiting again when we’re running errands in Waimea.

The wait was so worth it! Got the Kalua Pig and Shoyu chicken and this has been one of the best meals we’ve had on the Island! The BBQ burger was very good as well, the fried and mac salad were outstanding and very nice customer service. They handled the rush like champs. Definitely recommend!

Legit Hawaiian food, reasonably priced! Has nice family run small local business vibes. Good for families. 10/10 would come eat here again. This is a bit nit-picky but the kalua pork was a tad over salted. Shoyu chicken is a hit!
