The server Sheil* was racist and one of the rudest people i’ve ever had the misfortune of meeting. she said pretty audibly “i’m not serving you” (although i’m sure she thought she was saying it under her breath) we sat literally 10 ft from the counter and she served everyone except us. our food was sitting on the counter for god knows how long and she never even bothered to tell us that it was ready for even self service. we tipped in cash at the end anyways, despite zero service, since we’re decent people, and don’t want to sink at her level. anyone else would’ve walked out with no tips.

DON’T COME HERE IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR!!! The server/cashiers are RACISTS and EXTREMELY RUDE!!! The lady who took our order served everyone at the table 10 feet from the counter except us and said pretty audibly “I’m not serving you” (even though I’m sure she thought she was saying it under her breath). We tipped decently anyways at the end of the lunch cause we didn’t want to sink at their level but if you’re brown, come at your own risk of being insulted.

Ali’i burger is really good. Big 1/2 pound patty, bacon, mushrooms, caramelized onions, cheese…. with fries for $20. Can’t go wrong. Service was great as well.

I want everyone to know that the Kings Bestro in Kingstree SC is a wonderful restaurant. My food was done to my order. The service was the best. The staff were excellent. They are located in the train depot. Give them a try. You will be happy you did. Thank you.

for a hotel, not too bad pricey food, but not above and beyond typical hotels . both of the kids said the food was OK nothing to write home about. Their teenagers, so that’s not an outstanding review as they eat about anything :)

The atmosphere had a touch of luxury and felt very comfortable. 🌴🌺 It was a bit disappointing that the food was served in fast-food-style containers, but the portions were generous and the food was quite good overall.

We finally came to try the breakfast buffet we’d been curious about. It was such a relaxing morning — sitting under the thatched-roof hale, enjoying the gentle breeze and birdsong. The buffet had a nice selection, with plenty of fresh fruit and a generous amount of scrambled eggs — there may have been an egg station, but we didn’t notice one at the time. The fresh juice and coffee were both really good.
The setting feels peaceful and open, with a nice view of the surrounding greenery. It’s a great way to start the day if you're staying at the resort or even just stopping by for breakfast. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall experience.🥰
