Merriman's Big Island provides an exceptional dining experience with its fresh, local ingredients and carefully prepared dishes. The quality is better than ever, with newer items on the menu excelling, and the classics continuing to be just that. Guests can combine two entrees with the "Duo" selection, featuring highlights such as mushroom soup, special tomato salad, and fresh catch. The food quality and unique preparations are phenomenal. The atmosphere is lovely, classy but not fussy. The service is super friendly, warm, knowledgeable, and subtly attentive, accommodating food allergies and kids' needs. Bianca was our server and she was absolutely wonderful, making incredible recommendations. Very attentive service by Kimo C. with a great dessert recommendation to try the Macadamia nut bread pudding. The catch of the day was prepared well and the ahi tuna fish tacos were also tasty. The Mai Tai with lilikoi foam, Ginger martini and Lilikoi margarita were also excellent. Merriman's continues to demonstrate why they're such a popular restaurant option.
