1st order at this restaurant was the fish and chips, 0% of the food went into my body. The fish was more rubber than it was actual fish. Sent it back, was offered something different but had lost my appetite. All future ordered from this restaurant were played safe with the cobb salad which was pretty good. All drinks from here are great!

Great pool side food! The poke stack was delicious as well as the smoothies. Service can be a little slow during peak times.

I've been to big island so many times, but I never knew this place existed! We were looking for a beach side dinner to celebrate my birthday. And we heard our favorite server from Mauna Lani moved to Naupaka so we had to check it out. Rhell was attentive and is entertaining as usual. And he made the recommendations that inspired tonight's dinner. Aside from the beautiful sunset and sounds of the waves, the meal was absolutely amazing. Calamari was crispy and plentiful. I loved the light airy breading and it wasn't oily. The fall off the bone tender ribs were so delicious. Classic bbq ribs tray with pineapple coleslaw. A nice touch I must say. But my favorite part of dinner was the pan roasted chicken. The broccolini and carrots were well roasted and seasoned. The buttery soft whipped potatoes were delicious clouds. But the chicken and the au jus were sensational. I wasn't even that hungry, but the portions were nice. And they brought out a complimentary dessert and song for my special day. I feel so special! Directions: Head to Hapuna Beach Hotel, throw the shaka at the security guard at the entrance, and proceed under the highway bridge. There's self parking and valet parking. Make your way down to the pool and it's next to their resort pool.

Even if you are not staying at the Hapuna, this is a nice place to eat while watching the sunset. The food is ok, the service is very nice and the view is breathtaking. You can hangout to watch the moon / stars after dinner.

My boyfriend and I came here for a date night since we're on vacation. Before booking we did look at their google reviews, I was a little hesitant coming at first but I'm glad we did. Everything was perfect, the staff were very attentive, food and drinks were delicious. There were only two cons in my opinion. 1. I wish there was more lighting in the area so it would have been easier to find the restaurant. 2. The walk back to the car on a full and satisfied stomach! We will definitely have to come back one more time before heading back home.

Seated immediately. Service to greet the table was slowish even though it was slow. Food was really really quick to arrive. But only 2 of the 4 items. My main was incorrect (someone else's) and #4 the side dish for our son didn't come. When my correct plate came I had to quickly request forgotten #4. My food wasn't piping hot but it was reasonably good. I was almost finished eating by the time she asked how everything was again. My other half long finished since I let him start to avoid his food getting cold. Salt and pepper on the table would have been nice to avoid eating without it or waiting for our server to check on us to ask for it (ate without, food would have been cold if I had waited and asked.) The coconut shrimp was slightly overcooked but good. A tad too crunchy for my 4 year old. ** I was really surprised they only had a "healthy" kids menu, or that's all we were offered. Some spaghetti (adult serving on daytime menu so I know they have it) or chicken (breaded or grilled) would have been nice options. The steak on my surf & turf came precut "pupu style" which I wasn't expecting. This is where the salt would have been good. The green peppercorn sauce lacked peppercorns, salt, and the complexity/depth you would expect from such a sauce and or in a high end resort. The fish was perfectly cooked but the sauce also lacked any depth. My plated food overall wasn't very hot considering I must've waited for them to prepare it based on how fast the other food came the first time. The ribs were good according to my partner. He didn't say anything about the temperature. Overall, as locals, we probably won't be back to this eatery. Meridia, upstairs, was a lovely experience when we went a couple years ago, and I expected that as the price point is more upscale. However, I do feel locations like these lean on ambiance and captive audiences rather than reputation for quality or service. At Meridia we also didn't get a lot of attention.

What a wonderful place to watch the sunset and celebrate my husband's 62nd birthday. The service was great our waiter was very personable. We really enjoyed the overall experience and will be back!

Nothing to write home about. The food at this resort was disappointing. We ate dinner here, ordering fish tacos and a burger. Both were okay. We ordered an acai bowl one day as well. Quite small, especially for the price. And it had sweet potatoes which was odd. Staff were friendly and views were obviously beautiful.

The bland food doesn’t live up to the beautiful cozy evening atmosphere of this restaurant. Service was fine. Would avoid eating here again. Find a good place to eat off resort ten minutes north instead! If you have to eat here the fresh catch sandwich was alright. Tacos were awful in my opinion. Was interesting to try the Hawaiian banana split for something tropical.

Beautiful evening. Friendly service, Tasty food. It's Hawaii so Hawaii time is a thing. It was reasonable prices for a resort area. Ahi Tataki and coconut shrimp were tasty. The pika margarita was delicious, if you like a bit of spice.

The service was slow, and no one checked back to see if we needed anything. It took a long time to find our waiter and get our check. The tacos were terrible. No taste. The view and music is wonderful.
