Good stuff, nice people
Best malasadas on Big Island. They draw a crowd so get there early. It's a food trailer set up on Queen highway (Rt. 19) Kona side at the Puako Beach turnoff.
Delicious malasadas! Li hing mui was surprisingly good. Ube is def our fav, the filling is good too but very strong / sweet, I ended up dipping some of my other unfilled malasadas in which I loved.

Manuela Malasada Co. offers freshly made, flavorful malasadas with a variety of fillings. The Bavarian cream is a favorite among customers, and many enjoy the jelly fillings like guava and lilikoi, which are described as warm and yummy. The malasadas are crispy and warm, with fluffy centers and fillings that actually taste like something. The staff is friendly, and customers appreciate the quick service, even during busy times. The cold brew ice coffee pairs well with the sugary treats. Visitors note that the malasadas come out hot and are amazing, especially when enjoyed with a fresh Kona coffee. Although slightly pricey, the deliciousness of the malasadas makes them worth it, even if some fillings are just syrup for an extra charge. This small food truck, located conveniently off the highway, may require a short wait for the hot, tasty treats, but it's a perfect spot for a little indulgence on the island. Many guests have come back for seconds, making it a must-stop destination.
