Paniolo Country Inn

If I'm staying in Kamuela/Waimea area, this is my favorite stop for breakfast, unless it's Saturday, in which case you really should be at the farmer's market next door on the Parker School campus. The breakfast menu options include all of the usual breakfast options eggs and meat choice, pancakes and waffles, loco moco, french toast, omelettes, eggs benedicts, but they also have huevos rancheros because who do you think taught the paniolo to be cowboys! Popped in at about 1:40 PM after riding up north. I had the place to my self. Server was very accommodating, sorry I didn't get her name. Her daughter is heading to Oahu for school. I had pork rib special, which was a bit spendy for my lunch tastes, but was oh, so worth it, They were basted in a guava BBQ sauce, and were fall off the bone tender. Coffee is excellent, black and strong. Worth a second cup. If I ever venture back to the Big Island, I'll be sure to eat here again....read full review

We had the best experience here tonight! We came in just before 8 and were the only ones there. We were treated wonderfully, never rushed whatsoever and had delicious food. We're only in town a couple days but plan to return.
