This lace is a popular local plate lunch spots on the island. They are located in the Waipahu are but still able to sell plate lunches at a clip of $20+, haha.

No matter when I come here, there is a consistent flow of customers and during peak hours tons of people
waiting for food.

Their plate lunches are massive and comes with a ton of food ~ main dish, rice under it, Mac/potato salad, cabbage salad, and their famous fried noodles.

Their Teri beef is one of my favorites on the island. The Teri beef always has so much flavor and nice and juicy.

Their fried noodles is what draws crowds. A bed of fried noodles slightly flavored and topped a generous amount of char siu, fish cake, and green onions. You can get the special fried noodles that adds bean sprouts for bit more.

It’s a take out window only with a few large shared tables outside. Don’t expect fancy when you come here, as there can sometimes be questionable customers or peeps hanging outside.

Took almost a whole hour to get our food. 3 burgers, 2 fries and a fried noodles plate. The family right after us waited just as long for 4 musubi and a plate.

Waited well over an hour for food. No sense of order in how food went out. I was told they had to make more fried chicken but many orders before made it out with fried chicken which you can clearly see thru the window. The food which was warm at best did taste good. Unfortunately, I will never know how it tasted when fresh. Be prepared to wait a long time for food orders.

Waited 30 minutes, ordered meat jun and fried noodles.. just under $20 per plate. Tastes good, but complete let down as it’s just the fried noodle plate with 1 layer of meat jun.

Lots of yummy food for the price. The only negative is there are no bathrooms. So plan ahead. Thanks.

If you like turnovers but hate the flaky croissant-like wrapping bakers typically, you'll love the turnovers here. I got both Apple and Okinawan and they were both delicious! They look like an oversized empanada, which in my opinion now makes for a better turnover. I also got a super cheap bacon egg sandwich and it was fantastic for the price point. Highly recommend both!

The noodles good but the employees better learn customer service. I ain’t going back again because their cashiers & the so called assistant has bad attitudes, looks grouchie, & not approachable. Shitty customer service 0 out of 10. Noodles was good. The only reason there’s 1 star is because it’s the only way I could share this review.

Amazing food! Didn't know what to get at first, but ended up getting their noodles and was very delicious. Will definitely come here again to try more of their menu.

Went today 1/27. I ordered bbq chicken plate and special fried noodles with bean sprouts and side Teri beef. This is what my fried noodles look like after removing the Teri beef on top. My coworker and I agreed that the noodles were tasteless and don’t taste like the original recipe. Teri beef was ok but the Bbq chicken was very tasty. A bunch of comments saying that the fried noodles are the original and classic recipe but I disagree.

Leeward drive in has become my favorite drive on Oahu. Definitely local and the value is great. 2 item plate was ~$20. The plate comes with a scoops of rice, Mac salad, saimin noodles. Ordered the plate with meat Jim and mochiko chicken. Portion was huge and everything was delicious. 100% local spot and 100% worth stopping in. 10/10 would recommend.

Order for pick up via DoorDash and it was ready within 20 minutes. Came in on a Monday night around 7pm.

Great old school plate lunches, great choices, great value for the price. You will have enough left over to snack on after your kanak attack! Parking can get tricky when busy. A few tables to eat at in front of restaurant so customers in line can check out what you got. We will definitely be back.

The counter lady is rude as hell. I had a pickup. I'm not sure if she was already having a bad day but I would never recommend. Completely unnecessary rude disrespectful interaction for something so simple.
