“Can’t drive by going to home in Kunia without stopping at my fav Shave Ice Stand! The magic is in the syrups which make all the difference in the world!! Delicious fruity and real flavors, not too sweet.
A bonus is the 2 cutest guys serving the heavenly 3choices you get! Mine are Lilikoi Tamarin and Lychee. The ice is super fine like frozen Angel Dust and has become my simple addiction.
There are really delicious add ons but I prefer mine simple. Prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend stopping. Located next to Malasada wagon in Waikele Shopping Center.“

“My Mom currently stayed at Tripler Hospital X2 in the past month and all she talks about is the apple juice , so when I flew in again I took a pic of the small cup and found you guys! “Real deal poke. Fresh and fantastic. Our favorite was Shoyu and also Spicy. One outdoor table for seating. I wish there was another option then to have it served in plastic. Paper bowls would be adequate and way more ecological than creating huge load of plastic waste with every meal.“

“All I'm going to say is that the poke served here is severely underrated. I give the poke here a 10 out of 10. The poke here isn't drowned in sauce. Here the it's the fish that is the highlight of the poke. Also the fish is very very fresh. I should know I fish for a living. Highly recommended to eat here“

“I cannot believe it took me over SEVEN years on island to finally eat here—like, how did I miss this?! This spot in Aiea is a total hidden gem and exactly what I’ve been craving ever since my trip to Singapore. It’s similar to mala tang in that you get to pick your own veggies, meats, seafood, etc. to build your soup. The broth options are a little different though—no mouth-numbing mala like you’d find at YGF Mala Tang—but honestly, I didn’t mind one bit.

The spicy pumpkin soup base was perfection: creamy, flavorful, with just the right kick. It didn’t overwhelm my palate or leave me feeling heavy, and it tasted cleaner (less oily) than other broths I’ve tried. If you’re into creamy soups, the pumpkin base is a must-try!

Service was solid too. They refilled my water without me asking and even let me choose my seat (I was the first customer before the evening rush lol). The space was roomy, spotless, and you can tell it’s a true mom-and-pop operation—genuine care for both the food and the customers.

I’m already planning to come back this week because I cannot stop thinking about that pumpkin soup.

Oh, and if soup isn’t your thing (or if Hawaii’s heat has you craving something else), they’ve got chicken katsu with curry, stir fry, and other specialty dishes too.

“I love to walk here when I'm taking a long walk. The service is great as are the drinks. I like to get the papaya smoothie and add boba and the boba is perfectly made. It also doesn't freeze with the drink, so it's delicious to the last sip. The atmosphere is cozy as it is just an ordering window, but there is a place to sit if you're looking for a reprieve from the sun or your walk.“
