The best broasted chicken. I can see the ladies in the kitchen from where I was sitting and they checked every piece of chicken to make sure it was done. My order got mixed up with another customer but they made it right in more ways than one. Very appreciative.
Really wanted to like this place, it has a good downtown small town location near the schools. The smell of grease when you walk in is strong and of course you and your clothes smell of it until washed. Their thing is broasted (pressure fried) chicken which leads to pretty much broasted everything else. There is not a burger, grilled item or lettuce salad on the menu. The service was great, neat little bar, but that smell….
If you like a small town bar and grill, this is your place! It's not fancy but the food is good, staff is friendly, and the prices reasonable. Well known for great broasted chicken.
