A large group of us stopped in a month ago, when my sister was in town. It had been years since I’ve eaten there and I’m glad we did. The broasted chicken, waffle fries, frickles, and everything else, were amazing! The waitress/bartender was very friendly and gave great customer service. Fun, small town experience. I’ll definitely be back for more!
The best broasted chicken. I can see the ladies in the kitchen from where I was sitting and they checked every piece of chicken to make sure it was done. My order got mixed up with another customer but they made it right in more ways than one. Very appreciative.
Really wanted to like this place, it has a good downtown small town location near the schools. The smell of grease when you walk in is strong and of course you and your clothes smell of it until washed. Their thing is broasted (pressure fried) chicken which leads to pretty much broasted everything else. There is not a burger, grilled item or lettuce salad on the menu. The service was great, neat little bar, but that smell….
