I've been several times and have loved it every time. Today, however, I got a sandwich to go, and when I got to where I was going, the bread was hard as a rock. I called up, and they explained that the bread maker sometimes over cooks the bread, understandable. My only option was they would make me another one, and I could go back and pick it up, they did not offer a refund and I was not in a situation to go back and get another sandwich that may or may not be hard as a rock.

This is the BEST coffee shop in the area! The coffee is delicious, and Paul and Angela are amazing people. The food is always fresh and homemade, and the building is so cozy.I worked there for a short period of time and really enjoyed it. Be sure to stop in and support a amazing local coffee shop!
The BEST coffee shop in the area! I’ve lived in several states and each time I’m trying to find a coffee shop that even compares. Spoiler alert, I have yet to find one that comes close! Paul and Angela are extremely kind people, and I love the new things they are bringing to small town Algona. I thoroughly enjoyed working for them. Be sure to stop in and support an amazing local coffee shop!
We hosted a baby shower upstairs at the Feed Mill Coffee Co. We served their quiche and mini scones with some of our own items. The food was delicious. Angela and Paul were as accommodating as they could be with the amount of daily traffic they were managing at the counter. I would recommend making sure they have a chair count way in advance so you don't have to wash the chairs yourself. They have a nice storage area so you don't have to take all the empty decoration totes home, but can just refill them after your event. They also allowed us to use some private space to prepare food in another area of the building which was great. Would have given a 5 stars if we wouldn't have had to wash chairs... Don't let that persuade you from renting the space because the chairs are clean now.

Had a function at work that I had Feedmill provide the breakfast treats. Scones, muffins and coffee cakes were a huge hit. They were delicious and my volunteers enjoyed them a lot

They have a great space upstairs available to rent for events. We rented it for a baby shower and they were super accommodating and great to work with.
I've stopped here 7 times now since living in Algona and I'm more disappointed every time, I really tried to give it a shot. Why do half of the employees have head phones in and talking on the phone while assisting customers? That'd extremly unprofessional and they treat you like you are interrupting them. I waiting over 35 minutes for a bfast sanwich on my visit tuesday and the poor gal up front had to find what happened. Turns out that other employee went on a break? How does that even work? And it was ice cold when I finally received it. No compensation at all. This Place is going downhill fast!!!!!!! ?
