I almost never leave a bad review. Look at my other reviews. I only leave a review if I can give 5 stars. It's not worth being negative. BUT.. once a year a try again to get a single sandwich here. Every single time it's luke warm. This time I walked in and asked them what do I have to do to keep this from happening? They said to order a fresh one. I should never have to specify to a restaurant that I'd like fresh food. That is insane. // The one in the gas station in West Des Moines on West University never gives me a bad meal. Never. It's perfect every time. Every other BK in "Greater DSM" is serving garbage. The people seemed fine. The place was clean. Whatever.

Well went there at almost 7am and the hours posted to be open said it should of been open. There were cars in the lot and lights were on inside but nobody would answer the drive thru. We went back about 35 to 45 mins later and someone finally answered. Person at drive thru must not know much about customer service. She didn't greet us, said the total, we paid, she handed food out the window and shut it. She didn't thank us or really acknowledge us. Food tho was good and fresh.

This is by far the best BK around. The wait can be a little bit but the food is always hot and always good. The thing that’s always been the best has been the customer service. Always friendly and willing to make anything right if something didn’t come out right or something was missing.

Just wana say this is the best Burger King my family and I have ever been too, great food ,incredible service, the quality not only in the food but also the cleanliness of the lobby and bathrooms highly recommended also there was an employee there with the most extraordinarily beautiful tattoos iv ever seen going above and beyond out of his way to be accommodating to everyone in the lobby genuinely helping guests and there children get there orders I believe this gentleman’s name to be Dustin, undeniably one of the best fast food restaurants we been to lately faith in humanity RESTORED!! Thank you MR.CRAIG and your incredible Altoona bk crew for the great food and hospitality 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Will be back much more often !!
Kid-friendliness: Two of the employees saw that my son had been hurt (wearing a cast on each of his wrists ) instantly offering and then help him and his things to a table to be seated , very warm and welcoming also made sure he had a few bk Souvenirs overall best experience in a long time thank you Altoona Burger King stay beautiful!
