Very disappointing last visit to Guadalajara in Altoona. Portions were small for what we have paid for in comparison to our last visit. Slow service. It was like they were rationing carne asada. Sorry but Ankeny keeps a consistency that seems to lack in Altoona. Personally, the focus should be on your food rather than the decorations you have scattered throughout the restaurant.
My mom dies today I’ve not ate all day and all I wanted was a meal. Ordered food from Guadalajara in Altoona. Got home and my order was missing food and just called to tell them I didn’t have my chips and salsa and queso and corn tortillas for my meal. My bill come to $98.39 and was told I was lying that he packed it himself and he wasn’t wrong. The manager literally yelled at me and treated me like I was his daughter.
