Not a truck driver but my fiancé is. The area where it's located is pretty busy with semis coming in/out. There is a lot of truck parking available and like I said, it's always busy. It's by restaurants and other hotels. Their store was pretty clean. We stayed a hotel nearby and we were told this area can get pretty sketchy but we didn't experience anything bad. Just a regular truck stop.

This is a truck stop and I'm shocked at how small and congested this location is. The location is around the casino / racetrack and adventure park. The location is awful . You make the wrong turn and it's a one way street, you have to drive down and u turn . The lot had people in line waiting for a pump and it's only about 7 , if that for a truck stop. Nobody was in a rush and many had to go in to pay. We left after waiting for a pump that took up 15 minutes of our time. Just ridiculous. I would never say close it down but Undercover Boss needs to check on there business ASAP!!!

My husband and I were at Cinnabon at the Flying J in Altoona and wanted to pick up a 6 pack of cinnamon rolls which is 17.00. We were told by the staff that we would have to pay 4.59 per roll because they just came out of the oven and were hot. I explained we don't care if they are hot and just want a 6 pack to go. She talked to her manager who said that we would have to pay 30.00 for the 6 pack because they were hot. I don't understand why the cinnamon rolls have to be cold to get the 6 pack price. It makes no sense and seems like a great way to charge customers double what the stated pricing is on the sign they display. There is no mention that the rolls would be twice as much if they are hot. Needless to say we are not happy at all.

Oh...My...God. Just left there about 30 minutes ago. The male cashier was very nice, like you expect from Flying J all over the USA. That old female employee/cashier should not be working there. All I did was ask how I get pizza? Is there a door to lift up/self serve - or is it something I tell them to do for me? Her response: "Just f****** ask me. Now I guess I will end up on a review on the internet or TikTok." We stay at Prairie Meadows Hotel a lot because our company has a relationship with them and we get discounts. That other little gas station close to the hotel ("Super Stop") is definitely somewhere to avoid. The guy who owns it is an absolute a-hole and he works at the counter. But basically everything close to Prairie Meadows is bad, including this Flying J with that old blond female. We drove to QT on East 14th five miles down the road to get pizza instead of dealing with that awful woman. But again, the male employee was very cordial and nice. He looked and seemed a bit uncomfortable with the rude woman too! I feel sorry for him.Anyway, never going back there again. EVER!!

Jeremy the Sunday manager is as racist as he wants to be. shouldn't be working with people if he is going to put his personal feelings out there about not liking certain groups of people.

3.59 a gallon, clean bathrooms with private stalls, clean store, clean outside friendly employees would stop there again. Right off the freeway

What's the point if it's close. Put a Restaurant that will be Open for TRUCKERS AT ALL TIMES.
