Cold Stone Creamery

Went to Altoona Cold Stone to go through the drive thru. There were signs taped to the sign that they are not accepting drive thru orders. Signs were not very legible. The whole reason for the drive thru is to not have to go in. Disappointed. If the drive thru is down, it should be listed somewhere.

we ordered 7 ice creams on line we went in to find out they were missing 1 ice cream and 5 waffle cones. We went back in so they could make the other ice cream and get the cones but everyone was extremely rude. there was a girl cleaning a table then told my cousin to “take a breath” after asking for a bag since 5 cones where handed to her with no wrapping. everyone was extremely rude there was an option to write names on the lids when we ordered online but none were labeled would not go to this location again

Worst place I've ever been customer service is horrible they gave me my Ice cream melted I had to trash it in the parking lot. It was leaking out of the bowl. My husband ordered a cone then they told him they didn't have it, asked him if he wanted a plain bowl then said we don't have that either. Had to run my card 4 times then got mad at me bacuse their machine doesn't work. Careless rude disgusting employees. Never again.

The employees act like they could care less to work. Went in there yesterday and no hello, no thank you. They look at you like you are a burden and they don't understand the simple request and simple service that is needed. It is scary how little care is put into work ethic. Ten years from now they will be in the same place.

We came at 8:30 and they locked the door in my face basically and all ran to hide in the back. Like children when left home alone.

I stopped in tonight for a sweet treat. We were not greeted only looked at with annoyce. Finally I was told it would be just a second. Than blueberries became the hot topic, clarks needed to smell the contents to determined they were most definitely expired. We decided we wanted ice cream and not food poisoning. Nothing was said to us when we walked out.

Came through the drive thru and there was currently a car in front of us we waited 10 minutes then they pulled up. Then it was our turn we sat there for 5 minutes until I said something, the worker said “just give me one moment” but was very rude about it like he didn’t wanna be there, couple minutes past we left and took our business to DQ

No service today..they're still closed with employee inside and not communicating or unlocking door and opening...waited from 1045am until they are supposed to open at 11:00am on Fridays.Still not open at 1120am...zero stars....

All I can say is the whole experience was total confusion. My wife ask for a coffee lovers ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. The woman made it in a bowl so I said something about it supposed to be in a chocolate dip waffle cone. The woman then took the ice cream out or the bowl and put in a plain waffle cone. I again said something to her that is was supposed to be in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. So she took the ice cream back and got a broken chocolate dipped cone that had a two inch piece broken out of the cone. We just took that one and felt lucky to get it at this point. So while my wife stood there holding a broken waffle cone with ice cream running down her hand. Then I ordered the same thing a coffee lovers ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. The person that took my order got a chocolate dipped waffel Bowl. I said that’s supposed to be in a chocolate waffle cone. So he took the waffle bowl back to where he got it and I’m standing there waiting on my order. After almost 10 minutes he ask me again what I would like. OML! I said well you are supposed to be making me a coffee lovers ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. The whole experience was a total chaos. No one in there knew what they were doing I almost felt sorry for them because you could tell they had to be new employees and had little or no training. In all honesty we go there a lot and this was not the normal visit by any means. Most of the time they are spot on. Oh and no one was wearing gloves and one of the male employees I saw scratching his head and then preparing ice cream orders.

A few minutes before the store closed (10pm), the manager told all the customers in the building to leave because they were going to lock the poor. Most of the workers were not friendly either. Not how you do customer service!

Please power wash the front of the store and get a new trash can. It's disgusting! I am half tempted to pay a company to come do it. Let's not look like the east side shall we?

Cold Stone is great ice cream! The service was friendly & the ice cream combinations feel like they have endless possibilities. They don't have a very big area for seating, only a few small tables which can make it difficult to eat there when they are busy but it's always delicious to eat!
