Lunched here this afternoon with former coworkers and we hadn't all been together for 26 years. It was a 3 1/2 hour lunch! A young woman working front counter took a picture for us. Manager Martin' came out to talk with us and then treated us to their delicious custard! Good food.. Good service.. Good Iowa nice 😊 people!
We just hit up the Altoona Iowa drive-thru and this wonderful lady with beautiful white hair (I think her name was Joy/Joye?) brought us our food. She was prompt and bubbly and brightened our day.
Food was fresh and delicious too.
Said they didn't receive the carmel custard for their published flavor-of-the-day ice cream. I offered to accept vanilla custard at the "flavor-of-the-day" price. They insisted that I'd have to pay a higher custom price. Rude and unacceptable for their failure.
