Food was decent but I wouldn't order the same stuff again.
Had the pot-roast Tatchos, and despite all the ingredients in the bowl, was still a little bland.
However, the pie was amazing.

Thoroughly disappointed by this location. Service was sorely lacking and the food was mediocre. My friend and I both ordered the pot roast totchos and the portion was pretty small for what you were paying. Mine had barely any meat on it. Nobody came and asked us if we needed refills, which we both did, nor did they offer dessert or anything. They brought the check when they brought the food and we were basically ignored until we went to pay. The lady at the register ask how the food was and I told her it was okay and I instantly got nothing but attitude back. There was barely anybody in there, so I don't understand why the service was so poor.

It had been awhile since I had been to a Perkins. Being almost 10pm every other place was closing and they were open to 12am. Driving truck and finding good food at late hours is hard to do anymore. The food was good and served quickly.

Went here on a Friday night after adventureland, 1 adult and 2 kids. Everywhere else was super busy, this place had no wait, friendly employees, and we were in and out in 30 minutes. The customer service was great, they forgot one of our plates at first, but apologized and gave us that plate for free so the whole meal was only like 30 dollars and we had leftovers. Would recommend for sure. I only wish they served beer.

I am very sad. I spoke with a person that said she was management on 8/8 regrading a terrible service and terrible food. The person said she was sending me out gift cards that next day. My fiancé and went and had breakfast on Saturday morning. We were seated immediately and our drink order taken. Within what seemed like seconds, our drinks arrived. Our waiter was Brooks. He was fast, efficient (not once did he write anything down and we witnessed him take an order for 4 people and not one thing was wrong!!), extremely polite, and attentive even though they started to get busy half way through our meal. We were both very impressed him, the food, and our overall experience at the Altoona Perkins!!

The waitress was very nice and the food 👌 😋

We were eating at Perkins across from some rude ladies who got very impatient with the only server working. She was doing a great job and keeping up and making her tables happy. The ladies proceed to yell across the dinning room about boxes that they asked for but the server stayed calm and was polite. Apparently, they couldn't wait a few minutes for the server to come back after she told them she'd be right back with boxes. They got up and went to pay and the rant wasn't over. The yelled at the manager who was there about not helping his employees but he was most definitely helping and they again were not very nice. I am writing to say they all did a good job for what they had to deal with. Some people can be very rude and impatient. When I left I asked all their names. I appreciate Cian, Kevin, misty, maddi, and Josh for the handwork. It is a thankless job, so thank you very much. We have never had a problem at Perkins.
