Ordered two cakes from Mel and some Gluten Free bites for my fiancee's birthday party.
Perhaps I'm cake ignorant and only used to grocery store cakes, but when I sent Mel the designs, I was just expecting an edible printout for the top. Mel, however, went above and beyond and made the whole cake themed.
People loved the cakes (not too sweet, but not unsweet) and were fighting over the gluten free bites. We had her party at Top Golf and every employee was stopping by asking where we got the cakes from.

There is so much I can say, but long story short, MSO is amazing, Melissa is amazing, her treats are SOOOOO good, and the chocolate cupcake is to DIE for. Hands down the best cupcake I've had in my life.I have also had her pepper thyme shortbread, oatmeal creme pie, petit four, opera cakes, lemon blueberry scones, sugar cookies, and a cake tasting kit with tons of different flavors. I am usu pretty picky when it comes to sweets and baked goods, but with MSO, I can pick out one or two things I wasn't crazy about (like the top piece on the opera cakes - they were a bit too gelatinous feeling to me) and that's it. Overall, everything has been phenomenal. They are not sickeningly sweet, they are just the right blend of sweet and buttery. Melissa is also super easy to work with, patient, and understanding. I can't wait till our wedding guests try out all her goods too!

So, so happy to have been able to work with Mel for our wedding! We ordered 4 different flavors of the 1/2 sheet cakes, coconut macaroons, decorated shortbread cookies, AND our single tier wedding cake. Everything was absolutely delicious, however, my favorites were the coconut macaroons, chocolate with espresso filling sheet cake, the shortbread cookies, and our lemon cake with raspberry filling! Oh wait... that was pretty much close to everything. Our guests also lovvved tasting everything, but especially talked about the coconut macaroons.
Mel's flavors are amazing and as you can see, makes it difficult to choose from! Mel is fantastic at communicating, and not only talented with flavor, but with creativity and design, as well. We are so incredibly grateful. Thank-you, Mel!

I’ve used this bakery multiple times for custom treats but also for regular gluten free cinnamon roll orders and other treats, and I’ve never been disappointed.
