We delighted in a brunch at this near campus town restaurant. We had Ham & Gruyére croissant, and Berry Mascarpone crêpe. Would have given it more stars if they hadn't have charged me for another table's meals. Took a little bit of extra time to get Credit Card reversal but at least they were punctual in getting this resolved.
Stomping grounds is probably one of my favorite places in Ames. The seating inside or out is just quintessential cozy cafe/coffee house. The staff is always great and the place is clean. The coffee and tea drinks are great and you have to try the hot cocoa in the fall in winter along with their soups.

Went for Sunday brunch. The food was delicious, I highly recommend the meatballs. The coffee and hot chocolate were also amazing. The restaurant's ambiance was also very good, it's the perfect spot for Sunday brunch.
