Subway in Ames

“Had not been in a Subway in quite a while. The gentleman behind the counter couldn't have been nicer. Very accommodating. Wheat bread on my Italian sub was unbelievable. Prices have definitely gone up. Fast food is no longer affordable. We were eating on the run while driving back to Kansas City, so the price wasn't that big a factor. All in all, it was a very good experience.“

“Every time I come to this subway, the staff is very friendly and kind. Tonight I ordered a take out somewhat close to close and I still was able to grab my sandwich quickly. I felt bad about coming in so close to close but the staff was still friendly to me even though they appeared a little understaffed which I know can be stressful. Overall a great store, clean, and friendly.“

“I'm pretty much a regular here, and my experience--I've only done take outs--has been positive so far. The staff are welcoming, the sandwich is prepared carefully, and it always tastes good. Prices are obviously not exclusive to this store, but they are reasonable nonetheless, and you can get some good discounts if you have an account. Worth checking out.“

“I love Subway because it’s so hard to mess up and I’ve been here twice and it’s been good both times. However I will say, once I was there and the worker was chatting up his gf and while my friend and I were getting food, she kept being all romantic with him. It was so awkward for us, we just went to my friends car to eat.“
