I wanted to try a different restaurant and China Moon had a decent rating so I thought I'd give it a try.I ordered for pick up and the food was ready quickly, so that was a plus. However, that did make me question if anything was made fresh. I ordered the orange chicken, cashew chicken, and vegetable egg rolls.The orange chicken smelled tangy but was not crispy and did not have as much flavor as I would have preferred.The cashew chicken was swimming in sauce and was very bland.The egg rolls were good and they even gave us an extra order of their regular egg rolls, which was nice.Both orders came with a side dish of rice, so I ordered one steamed rice and one fried rice option. The rice was a bit dry and the fried rice was mostly rice and not very much of anything else.I will agree with the other reviews that state that you get a decent amount of food for the price but I was not overly impressed and will try other options.

I come to China Moon fairly regularly. Their service is the best I’ve had at a restaurant! They really pay attention to their customers, topping up refills quickly and getting the bill ready promptly after eating. They’ve even noticed, without me saying anything, that I didn’t eat an item from my order, so they asked how if at all they can improve and recommended a substitution for next time. I can be picky about texture (no grisly/stringy/chewy meat or crunchy vegetables), which is consistently not an issue here.

My grandfather took us to China Moon regularly starting about 25 years ago, and it's still a favorite when I'm in town. Not much has changed over the years. The food is still some of the best Chinese food around. The hot and sour soup is my favorite! Service is prompt, food comes out hot and fast. I'm not sure if they still put dry ice on the tables with the check, but that was always fun for the kids to see.Well worth the visit.
