Fresh Fit Meals Ankeny

I’ve been going to fresh fit for almost 2 years now and while I don’t write reviews often, these guys (and gals) more than deserve it. The convenience of their meals is unlike any other place, and the food is honestly amazing. I love coming here post gym for a protein shake, and stocking up on nutritious food and snacks so I can keep my calories in line. Whatever your macros are, they’ve got something that tastes great. The staff are the best, with amazing recommendations and incredible service. Incredible place that will always have my business.

I can’t say enough amazing things about Fresh Fit in Ankeny! It’s my go-to spot for protein shakes on the go as a busy mama and business owner. Bonus? They’re gluten- and dairy-free!

The staff is incredible—they greet me by name and start making my usual shake as I’m walking in the door. They even go above and beyond by pouring a little into a separate cup for my son when he’s with me, so he can have some too!

Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. My husband and I love getting meals for the week here. It is so nice to have healthy meals ready to go in the fridge when the workday just takes it out of you. We also love the smoothies and the staff is fantastic.

Every time I go to fresh fit meals I have an amazing experience. I just had an extra amazing experience and we don’t know the name of the worker, but she provided excellent service and went over the top!

I’m a regular- I get the 5 day meal plan. The food is amazing and so convenient. The customer service is impeccable but I especially want to shout out Matt for going way above and beyond to make certain my experience is perfect. I can’t say enough good about this place. If I ever move away from the Des Moines metro, especially if I’m outside of range for shipping, I will sorely miss this place because it is AWESOME

These guys are awesome! Every time I come in, the staff are super friendly, helpful, and the food is pretty awesome. For meal prep that is ready to go, no cooking required, they’ve got it down to a science. Sure, it’s not the cheapest option, but for those who are constantly on the go and don’t have time to cook, it’s worth it! Even better, they donate meals to local community fridges, and do so with a smile!

I love going here! My first time in I didn't quite know how everything worked but the lady that works there was so kind, and she walked me through everything. I've been going for several months and it's honestly one of the best things I've done for my health. The food is great, fresh, full of flavor and EASY to heat up.

Jen and her business rock! We will be moving to Ankeny, and wanted to see if this place worked, and it most certainly does. Great food options with a choice of dining in or taking home. All kinds of options make this a solid food choice.

I love the protein shakes! They are a great snack when I’m on the go. The bison potato meal was also good. I mostly love the shakes though! I want one right

Edited Review: Originally gave 1 star review due to service received with an employee over the phone. Never have had an issue with the food, as I've ordered many times before. I changed and edited my review, as the owner, Aaron, reached out and made things right with us. He was apologetic for their mistake, which was a communication error between Urbandale and Ankeny store, that caused an unknown delay with delivering my meals. I appreciate him reaching out and trying to make his customers happy and mending mistakes on their end.Original: I ordered meals for the week on Monday to be delivered on Wednesday from 4-8 pm.. I called at 8:10pm because my meals weren’t delivered. The lady on the phone looked into it and said “oh yeah I see everything is there online/submitted like you said and looks like the order was printed off on paper but wasn’t grabbed to be delivered or made, so do you want to cancel or have it delivered tomorrow.” And I responded and questioned why that happened and said that they didn’t seem to have their business take any accountability and the lady on the phone was 0% apologetic. I even said well it seems like you don’t really care too much about this order being messed up and forgotten about.. and she responded in a snarky tone “ok? Do you want to cancel the order then?”I had an expectation of meals for this evening and for lunch for my family and I, and it fell through. I hope they know that it was more of an inconvenience to me than anything and the lady taking phone calls is not sympathetic or apologetic at all.Won’t be ordering from them again. Very unorganized establishment.
